The History of the Namikaze Clan

Dear Minato 

If you are reading this it means that you have awakened the ability of our clan, something I wished you would never do as it will mean that you will have to carry the burden of our past. 

Before I explain to you what our ability is you need to understand the ancient history that is hidden in the roots of our blood, our divine lineage. 

thousands of years ago, when humans worshipped the gods with devotion, one god proclaimed that his followers were the most loyal as a reward, that god decided to bestow gifts to his devotees, the other gods seeing the actions of that god decided to follow him bestowing extraordinary gifts to these devotees, transforming their bodies to be able to use chakra. Some received parts of the divine powers through bloodlines, others formed cults in honor of their gods. 

In time, those blessed with chakra organized themselves into clans, kingdoms or cults, but history took a dark turn. The various clans and cults began to fight for resources and supremacy, sparking bloody conflicts. 

Raijin, the god of lightning had not found anyone worthy among his followers until one day he found among his followers a man named Namikaze caught his attention, his pride and strong character, resounded like thunder itself, conquered the heart of the god, he had finally found someone worthy of his power. Raijin infused the Namikaze blood with the power to control the 7 Lightning bolts. 

As time passed the descendants of Namikaze united and created the Namikaze clan in honor of their ancestor, all the Namikaze had a dominant character like thunder, full of arrogance and contempt for the other divine lineages believing they were the strongest and the others were nothing more than garbage. 

As the power of the Namikaze grew, their arrogance and lust for domination led them to attempt to dominate other divine lineages, turning them into vassals and creating the strongest empire that ever existed. The Namikaze clan ruled with an iron fist and tyranny, which filled the gods with anger at seeing their faithful being subdued by the sons of Raijin. Since they could not actively interfere in the mortal world, they decided to unite their vassals in a resistance and strengthened them to destroy the Namikaze at once. 

After the fall of the clan, only a few of us survived. My cousin, the strongest warrior, and I, the last Namikaze princess, fled westward to the western continent, believing we were escaping the divine lineages. But we were mistaken, for the cult of the god Jashin extended its claws even here. 

It was the cultists of Jashin who hunted us to death. For this reason, I did not want you to wake up. If the gods and their devotees find out that you have awakened the lineage of Raijin, they will hunt you and your family to extermination for fear of the most powerful divine lineage. 

As you are reading, this means that you have awakened the lineage of our clan, I have left a legacy book of our clan describing how to use the 7 Lightning bolts. 

Finally, Minato-kun, it pains me deeply that I was not the mother you deserved, that I did not raise you with my own hands and embrace you in your darkest moments. Not having been able to see you on the first day of school, for not being there when you cried. But I want you to know one thing I love you, I love you with all my strength, you are the best thing that ever happened to me and your father we love you. I hope you had a happy childhood, and that you find love.

When Jiraiya finished reading the letter out loud Minato and Kushina were sobbing "My mother-in-law is a good woman, dattebane" Kushina said as she smiled. "Yeah, no doubt she would have been the best mother of them all if it wasn't those damn cultists" Minato said with a grim expression 'I'm going to wipe them all out until I don't have any left over' Minato thought 

"Ok, it's time for us to read that book" Jiraiya said as he opened the book which read. 

History of the Namikaze Clan. 

It was a book that redacted the entire history of the Namikaze clan since from its origin it also had a family tree that had pictures of all the members that existed of the Namikaze clan 

Jiraiya wasn't really interested in the history of the Namikaze clan since he didn't have time to read it so he went straight to the part that described their lineage, the 7 Lightning 

The 7 rays are the greatest pride of the Namikaze clan, it is the gift of our god Raijin-sama to our ancestor Namikaze. 

The seven rays allow to control the 7 rays of Raijin that have different abilities 

First Lightning - blue Lightning: The blue Lightning is the Lightning that any chakra user can use, this Lightning tries to imitate the natural lightning present in storms. 

Second Lightning - Yellow Lightning: .............................. 

Jiraiya was puzzled, he couldn't read what it said on the second ray. 

"No, I can read the description of the second Lightning Minato-jiji" Jiraiya said to Minato "What, why. That book is supposed to explain everything about the 7 lightning bolts" Said Minato to Jiraiya. 

After that they got to thinking about it because they couldn't read more about the 7 Lightning until Kushina said "What if it's like the legacy tablets of the Uzumaki clan in which only the Uzumaki can read. Maybe that knowledge is hidden until something reveals it." 

"Yes, like the tablet of the uchihas that can only be read by the sharingan" Jiraiya said excitedly. After that he looked at his grandfather and said "Grandfather, use the yellow lightning in the book" Jiraiya said to his grandfather. 

Minato who was apprehensive afraid of breaking the book did as Jiraiya said. From his hands sprouted yellow lightning which was absorbed by the book, suddenly words began to appear. 

Second Lightning - Yellow Lightning: The yellow ray is the incarnation of lightning speed, it grants the user absurd speeds leaving only yellow flashes as a residual trace. 

To activate the yellow ray the user must have a high understanding of the concept of speed and movement. 

Next Lightning is the red Lightning to activate it the user must meditate and understand the concept of strength and power. 

When Jiraiya finished reading what the yellow Lightning was and about how to activate the red Lightning he said "I guess to know more about the red Lightning you must unlock it first" He paused and said "There is a section explaining in detail how to use the yellow Lightning" He said to his grandparents. 

"Isn't there anything about the lightning after the red lightning?" asked Minato to his grandson "No, I guess you must unlock the red lightning first" explained Jiraiya to Minato 

"The yellow lightning matches you no Minato-kun, it says it leaves a yellow flash in its wake like your last name" Kushina said with a chuckle "Yeah, it'll just reinforce the last name more, but I wonder what they'll call me when I unlock all the lightning" Minato joked 

"The rainbow flash of Konoha" Said jiraiya, to which Kushina replied "good thing you're not the one who creates nicknames, hahaha" 

They were joking around for a while and studying how to use the yellow Lightning until Jiraiya said "I don't have much more time" Jiraiya said looking at the clock on the wall, there was 12 hours since he came to the past, the god of fate said he would try to get him a whole day, but he had a feeling he wouldn't get him that much time "What will happen next Ji-chan, where will you go when you leave" Kushina said worried about her grandson. "I'll be fine grandma, don't worry" Jiraiya lied, he knew his fate was death, not something worse than that, he is going to be erased from existence he will never be able to go to the pure world nor reincarnate "When you come back everything will be different Ji-chan we will be waiting for you" Kushina said with a smile "Yes when you come back I will train you myself" Minato said with a warm smile. 

Jiraiya was touched by the affection shown by his grandparents, he felt bad for lying to them, they would never see him again, maybe they would see his other self another person would be born in his place maybe not even named Jiraiya as his name was given in tribute to the perverted sage who had died at the hands of Paín. 

"I'll look forward to it grandfather" Jiraiya replied to Minato "But now is not the time for that, we need to make plans for the future" Jiraiya said to his grandparents.

The next chapter will be about Minato, Jiraiya and Kushina's plans on how to proceed in the future.
