Without hesitation, Kagutsuchi swiftly invoked his Ryuujin Jakka, and sliced through the air, tearing open a rift in space. Seizing the opportunity, he promptly stepped into the rift, and as his form vanished within its confines, the tear itself dissipated into nothingness.

Witnessing the aftermath, Uzumaki Fuso arrived to find Kagutsuchi absent, leaving an empty space behind. Sensing the gravity of the situation, Fuso's tone turned serious as he contemplated the events that transpired. "It appears that something has occurred involving Kushina in Konoha, provoking the wrath of Grand-Uncle," he remarked. "Prepare our forces, for there is a possibility that Grand-Uncle may require their aid." Despite his resolute demeanor, Fuso couldn't help but harbor deep concerns for the safety of his own daughter.

Simultaneously, within the confines of Konoha, Jiraiya was in the midst of receiving urgent news delivered by a toad, sent by Minato. However, before he could fully process the message, a thunderous explosion rocked the vicinity, accompanied by a colossal pillar of fire descending precisely in the direction indicated by the toad.

The commotion within Konoha reached a fever pitch as everyone was jolted into action, racing towards the source of the explosion in the forest. Soon, a gathering of high-ranking Konoha individuals assembled at the scene, including Mito and Mitsuo. As their eyes fell upon the radiant aura emanating from the fiery pillar, their expressions morphed into a mix of shock and concern. In unison, Mito and Mitsuo exclaimed, "Uncle?!" Driven by their apprehension, they swiftly moved closer to the blazing inferno, with the rest following closely behind.

However, as they neared the vicinity of the pillar, their hopes were met with a grim reality. Spikes of flames materialized, menacingly targeting each of them. It became clear that any attempt to draw near Kushina would result in certain death. In the face of this deadly barrier, Mito's voice trembled as she exclaimed, "Kushina! What has happened?"

Abruptly, the skies above Konoha transformed, becoming shrouded in dark clouds that rumbled ominously, foretelling the arrival of an impending catastrophe. In that very moment, a rift in space tore open high above the city, revealing an elderly figure clutching a burning katana as he emerged.

The sheer pressure emanating from this enigmatic old man rendered everyone in the vicinity immobile, their movements stilled by an overwhelming force. Kagutsuchi, without exchanging a single word with anyone, promptly made his way towards Kushina, disregarding all else. Observing Kushina's condition, he appeared outwardly composed, yet deep within, he had resolved to eliminate anyone responsible for subjecting his granddaughter to such distress.

Removing the lingering flame pillar with a flick of his hand, Kagutsuchi immediately began employing Healing Kido, skilfully mending Kushina's injuries. As his healing abilities took effect, the once pallid and poisoned Kushina gradually regained her natural rosy complexion, signalling her recovery. However, she remained unconscious, prompting Mitsuo to step forward, his voice filled with concern.

"Uncle, is Kushina going to be alright?" he queried, seeking assurance amidst the turmoil.

"What were you doing? Swatting mosquitoes? You couldn't even protect her, despite my sending you to Konoha!" Kagutsuchi's voice thundered with anger, his frustration palpable. Mitsuo, unable to meet Kagutsuchi's wrathful gaze, bowed his head in shame, his eyes reflecting remorse.

In that tense moment, Kagutsuchi held something in the air, leaving everyone perplexed by its significance. It turned out to be the soul of a ROOT ninja deliberately ensnared within the fiery pillar. Kagutsuchi, utilizing his formidable Reitsu, delved into the depths of the ninja's memories, uncovering the truth of what had transpired.

Fixing his intense gaze upon Hiruzen, Kagutsuchi demanded, "Where is your friend, Danzo?"

Sensing the palpable anger emanating from Kagutsuchi, Hiruzen swiftly responded, his voice tinged with apprehension, "I am unaware of his current whereabouts, but he ought to be within his ROOT base."

With scepticism clouding his judgment, Kagutsuchi swiftly seized Hiruzen, gripping him tightly, and delved into the depths of his soul. As Kagutsuchi sifted through Hiruzen's memories, he discovered the truth: there were no intentions to harm the Uzumaki family within Hiruzen's heart. Accepting this revelation, Kagutsuchi released his hold on Hiruzen.

Though Kagutsuchi's anger still smoldered within him, he was not one driven solely by a thirst for bloodshed. He recognized the consequences that would befall the innocent residents of Konoha if he were to unleash his wrath upon the entire village for the actions of one man, Danzo.

Kagutsuchi shifted his attention to Mitsuo, his voice stern and resolute. "Kushina was besieged by 30 ROOT ninjas, my dear nephew. She fought valiantly, eliminating 26 of them and leaving four severely injured before succumbing to unconsciousness. If you seek redemption, take it upon yourself to end Danzo's life before my return."

In a trembling voice, Hiruzen interjected, "Konoha stands ready to assist in this endeavour."

Without uttering a word in response to Hiruzen's offer, Kagutsuchi turned and swiftly departed in a single direction, employing Shunpo to traverse the distance with unparalleled speed.
