Chapter 211: Attack in the Rain

The door was still opened by the old butler of the Su Family, Su Fu.

"Miss, have you returned?"

Wearing a red Tang suit, Su Fu asked with a beaming smile. Then, his gaze shifted and paused upon spotting Fang Bai standing not far away. He added, "Did Mr. Fang bring you back? Won't you invite Mr. Fang to come in and sit for a while?"

"It's too late, he said he won't come in."

Su Linglong spoke softly, her face flushed with a tender shyness as she walked into the courtyard, passing by Su Fu.

Su Fu nodded at Fang Bai with a smile and then closed the villa's grand door.

Fang Bai savored that lingering sweet scent on his lips, suddenly laughed involuntarily, shook his head, and strode away.

Just past ten on a midsummer night, the streets and alleys of the city were still bustling with activity. Fang Bai walked among the crowds, and although he couldn't utilize his movement technique, his steps were much faster than the average person.
