He noticed that there were a loading bar and a timer on the system interface. He assumed that the timer indicated how long he had to suffer this pain.

The timer was counting down from 20 minutes. And those 20 minutes were the longest 20 minutes Jin had yet experienced.

The pain started to fade away when the timer reached 0.

Jin was covered in sweat, he was exhausted both mentally and physically so he slept there hugging a tree branch like a monkey.

Jin awoke due to the freezing cold wind of the forest and the annoying sound of cicadas.

He forgot that he was on top of a tree and fell down.

Fortunately, he had body cultivation of Wood Refined Skin so the damage was minimal.

Getting up and spitting out some mud, he looked around, it was pitch black, thanks to the rain clouds there was neither star light nor moonlight.

'Where the hell am I?'

He looked at his system interface.

It was too dark to climb the tree again so he decided to sleep foot of the tree.

He did some shopping and bought an Iron training sword for 100 Qi points just in case if any wild animals attack him in the middle of the night.

Looking at the night sky he smiled and said.

"This is a new beginning. Let the legend of Shao Jin start here under this tree."
