In a romantic fictional novel, male leads were always written as being outstandingly handsome, so much so that it seemed as if they were meticulously sculpted by god's hand. They were in a sense god's favourite. You get the gist of it.

They were also usually very influential even though they were young.

The reason why these types of characters were fictional was that they didn't or would ever exist in reality.

So, what in the hell am I seeing now?

I don't even know what's real and what's fake anymore.

"Hello, my name is Azaiah Blake. What's yours?"

"A,ah, yeah. My name is Noel."

"Noel…?"

"Just Noel."

"Okay, nice to meet you Noel. I suppose you are the system the contract mentioned?"

"Y,yeah. Nice to meet you too Azaiah, my host."

"Hmm, well, I'll be in your care."

"...Me too."

I don't get it.

How can a person look so perfect?

What the hell did he eat since young to look like this? Or to grow so tall?

I'm so ****ing jealous.

"Is there anything I'm supposed to do now?"

Even his voice sounds nice. If I had a voice fetish, I would have already fallen in love with him.

"Ah, yeah. Sorry for spacing out. As per the contract you signed, you will now have to transmigrate to different worlds and complete the tasks assigned to you there."

Well, I wouldn't have fallen in love with him anyway. The gender's not right.

"When you transmigrate to a world, your soul would occupy an existing body there. It is required that you try not to go out of character of the original soul's personality as that would result in suspicions that are too troublesome to waste our time in cleaning up."

Damn, it's such a waste. For him to look this good yet only be allowed to show others a fake appearance that doesn't even belong to him.

"There are three types of missions. Main missions, side missions and hidden missions. Main missions are compulsory missions centred around fulfilling the original's main wish. Side missions are optional missions centred around fulfilling the original's regrets in life. And, lastly, hidden missions are missions that are triggered due to an event that happened in the world. It's optional to complete the mission, but it's advised for you to do so."

Can he even remember if I just dump all the information at him all at once? Should I go slower? Or should I repeat myself?

"SP are system points. They can be earned by completing missions. The quality of the world also affects the number of points you obtain. Main missions cost more than side missions, but there are more side missions, so they balance out. Hidden missions give multipliers as rewards. Multipliers are boosts that will multiply the total number of points you obtain in the world you completed your hidden missions in. The difficulty of the hidden missions determines the type of multiplier you get."

"SP can be used in the system store to buy anything you need to complete your tasks. The points can also be used to grant your wish. See here? Your wish costs 999,999,999 points. Woah. You better save up if you want to leave."

What did he wish for to require so many points?

"The only way to leave a world is by completing the main missions. Any questions?"

"Do you need me to repeat myself?"

Too bad the system instruction manual disappeared after I finished the test. Goodbye old friend. I won't miss you.

If only I still have the manual, then I wouldn't have to talk so much and just need to throw the book at him and watch him suffer reading finish that thick mother****er.

"No, I got it. No need to repeat yourself."

Ahhh, I'm so goddamn angry that I can't get angry at him. Good looking people are a curse. They should suffer once in a while so that they know we normal people would never fall for their charms no matter how hard they try.

"Okay. Do you wish to transmigrate now?"

"Yes, thank you."

"No problem, it's my job. Prepare yourself. We will be leaving in 3…2…1…"

What the **** is wrong with me? Just a moment ago I was angry at him. Now, I'm feeling humbled for doing something I was forced to do just because of a mere thank you? Dangerous. Good looking people are too dangerous.

A shudder went through my spine then. I knew I had to stay as far away from this person as I could, or else something bad would happen if I continued staying by his side.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Azaiah was never the romantic type. Although his wish was quite the romantic one, he had never been the type to like romance in itself. Making money was his hobby and his passion. There wasn't practically any time he could spare with another person, much less a lover.

It was only a yearning, the wish he had, that was nibbling at the back of his mind since he was young, to spend his life with another.

His parents were the opposite of him. They were extreme romantics and their love had remained strong and passionate even after the test of time.

They were the type to know no shame, showing off their affections towards each other wherever and whenever.

They lived in a two-person world. Nobody existed in that world. Not even the child they had conceived.

Thus, when Azaiah grew up, even though he despised their love, he still wished that he could be in love with another like his parents were. Dependence, trust, and the willingness to fall into hell for the other. He wanted all those.

But, that kind of love is as rare as an original comment.

So, Azaiah had no hopes that that day would ever come.

Love at first sight.

A term he was introduced to by one of his friends.

It's ridiculous, was what he had thought at first.

How could one fall in love at first sight? Wouldn't the love be too superficial then? The relationship would never last long.

"You don't understand. When you see someone, you will immediately get an impression of that someone. You can tell what kind of person they are, how they have lived their life, just by that one glance. Whether it's a good or bad impression, that's based on your judgment. Love at first sight, however, is on a deeper scale than that. It makes you think 'Ah, that's the person I want to be with for the rest of my life' when you see them. You'll only understand when you experience it. Only if you do, that is."

He'll only get it after he experienced it?

Midnight black hair, electrifying blue eyes. Androgynous facial features that made it hard to differentiate the other person's gender.

When Azaiah first met Noel, it seemed as if he was struck with a cupid's arrow.

He had never understood beauty in a person's appearance. Everyone had looked the same to him. A pair of eyes, a nose, lips, it's all the same. What's the beauty in that?

But, this was the first time he had thought a person looked beautiful.

I want to spend the rest of my life with this person.

It seemed that Azaiah's wish was fulfilled not long after he entered the contract.

"Hello, my name is Azaiah Blake. What's yours?"

Was I too rigid in my introduction? Should I redo it? No, that would just make me look like a fool.

"A,ah, yeah. My name is Noel."

Did I scare him? What should I do to remedy the situation?

"Noel…?"

Ah, I want to know more about him.

"Just Noel."

More.

"Okay, nice to meet you Noel. I suppose you are the system the contract mentioned?"

More.

"Y,yeah. Nice to meet you too Azaiah, my host."

I want to know everything about him. And I want him to know everything about me.

Is this feeling, what they call love?

Azaiah didn't know why his heart was beating so fast, and why his usually dry palms turned clammy. He didn't know why his body was reacting so strangely.

Nervousness was not something Azaiah had felt in his life, and this was the first time he had to deal with it.

He knew he was being abnormal at the time, but he ignored the feeling, thinking that it was a mere passing sickness that he had gotten due to him transferring into the system space.

What Azaiah didn't realise was that him thinking that way was already abnormal in itself. A usually logical and rational person not having noticed that they were in spiritual form and did not possess a physical body, and thus were not able to get sick? Abnormal.

However, one couldn't blame Azaiah for failing to properly handle something he was unfamiliar with.

Poor Azaiah, this love-struck fool.

A/N: I'm cringing so hard right now. Personally, I'm not a fan of love at first sight. I'd prefer a gradual fast-paced love than this type of love. It's 'cause I suck at writing that you are only able to get this third tier content. So here ya go.

Thank you @Septurl for your heartwarming welcome back! I'll try not be a sleazebag anymore and push through finishing the novel chapter by chapter.

Updates will be every Monday. If I get up to three chapters in my stock, I'll probably release an extra one.
