Chapter 83: Siren

"The currents are too strong and it's not easy to swim across the rivers" Cassandra said. "We need another way."

"What about building a raft?" Alpha Marcus suggested. "It would be quieter than a boat."

"It could work," Cassandra nodded. "But we have to be fast and careful. We can't let the guards see us."

"We'll need materials to build the rafts," Luna Elara said. "Let's gather everything we can find."

"And we'll need to cover the rafts with branches and leaves to blend in with the water," added Beta Zoey. "That way, the guards won't notice us."

"Alright," Cassandra agreed. "Let's get to work. The sooner we build these rafts, the sooner we can reach Alexandra."

Everyone split up to gather materials, working quickly and quietly. Urgency drove them, and soon they had enough to build the rafts. Sharon and Rosalie on the other hand were busy to keep their eyes on the guards boats on the river.
