Big Sister Kassandra was standing on the pillar on the patio of their home.
It looks like she's waiting for me. She smiled and walked down the stairs to level her height with me.
"I heard that Collin was breaking off the engagement. Can I know why?" she asks.
I sighed and told him what happened. Hiding the truth won't help me anyway. She held my palm and looked at me.
"Ava, it's okay to be afraid. You're still young. You are afraid that the things you started as a duchess and ruler of Aires Eternal will go in vain, but... That's what Lady Fay wants," she commented.
