Unwanted Marriage: Honey, No More Divorce!
After three years of marriage, Wendy Stewart was used to Michael Lucas's sarcastic remarks, his frequent threats about getting divorced, and even his indulgence of a mistress. She thought that she could bear with this her entire life, until she accidentally got pregnant with a child that Michael did not want. Finally despondent, Wendy signed the divorce agreement and left. She thought they could have parted ways forever, but Michael refused to stop looking for her after the divorce. When they met again, she was the world's top designer. Smiling sweetly at her ex-husband, she said, "My dear, we're already divorced." Michael simply stared at her coldly, "Tell me, what will it take for us to reconcile?"
Too Early to Thank Me
"Todd has agreed to help us settle everything on his end," Michael told everyone with a smile on his face after he hung up with Todd.
Wendy let out a huge sigh of relief. She blinked and said, "So since Timothy Woods is my biological father, that means Jill is my half-sister. She could be tested too, right? Isn't it also possible that she would be a match?"
"Theoretically, she might match," Michael nodded. "Let's contact Jill too."
"I'll do it," Wendy said. She had Jill's number in her address book.
Wendy found her phone and looked through her address book for Jill's number and gave her a call.
Mary's eyes looked down slightly when she heard Jill's name. There was a slight change in her facial expression.
She knew that Jill was Timothy's daughter with his wife.
The call was connected but there was no answer.
She waited till the call was almost automatically disconnected before someone finally answered the call.
