After three years of marriage, Wendy Stewart was used to Michael Lucas's sarcastic remarks, his frequent threats about getting divorced, and even his indulgence of a mistress. Leah had Michael tied around her pinky. She could do anything she wanted and if she could not do it, Michael would help her make it happen.
Michael would do almost anything for Leah as long as she asked for it.
Jake used to be the one who doted on Leah, but with Michael doting on her now too, Wendy could tell that Leah had never been so happy before as she was now.
After returning home from their stroll, Wendy helped Leah clean up and asked her with a smile, "Leah, are you happy?"
"I am," Leah answered cutely. Her laughter sang right into Wendy's heart.
