After three years of marriage, Wendy Stewart was used to Michael Lucas's sarcastic remarks, his frequent threats about getting divorced, and even his indulgence of a mistress. She thought that she could bear with this her entire life, until she accidentally got pregnant with a child that Michael did not want. Finally despondent, Wendy signed the divorce agreement and left. She thought they could have parted ways forever, but Michael refused to stop looking for her after the divorce. When they met again, she was the world's top designer. Wendy immediately hid behind Jill. She said in a terrified manner, "Mr. Lucas, can you please. tell me what exactly you want from me? I came here as a representative of HG Enterprise, don't you think that your behavior toward me has been inappropriate in front of so many people? Or are you doing this because you're crazy?"
She was simply insulting his mental state in front of everyone at this point.
"Mr. Lucas, your actions are scaring Corrine," said Jill as she stretched out her hand to stop Michael from getting any closer.
