2 CHAPTER TWO:RUDEST OF THEM ALL.

Kalina was mortified, and began to apologize again, but Dominique cut her off. "Save it," he said, his voice dripping with disdain. "Just give me your contact information so I can send you the bill for dry cleaning."

Kalina looked Dominique straight in the eye, and said, "You know, you're not exactly winning any points in the manners department yourself , Mister..." She let the sentence trail off, as if daring him to fill in his name. "Dominique," he replied, his voice still cold and angry. "Dominique what?" she shot back, refusing to back down.

Dominique was a well known businessman but Kalina who seem to have been living under the rock was oblivious to that, infuriating him further.

Dominique looked at Kalina with an expression of pure disbelief. "You don't know who I am?" he said, his voice full of incredulity. "You've never heard of me? You've never seen me on TV or read about me in the news?" Dominique took a deep breath, as if trying to compose himself before continuing. "I'm a very prominent and influential businessman," he said, his voice low and intense. "I'm not just some random stranger you bumped into. I'm someone you should know about and be scared of too."

Kalina looked at Dominique with an expression of utter indifference. "I'm not impressed," she said, her voice completely flat. "You're just another pompous, self-important blowhard. I've met plenty of people like you before." She shrugged, as if to say "so what?

Dominique fixed Kalina with a cold stare. "You're obviously not very bright," he said, his voice dripping with condescension. "I'm amazed you've managed to survive this long in the real world, with such a lack of intelligence."

The anger emitting from the both of them could be felt by everyone in the club but none dared to interrupt instead they continued with their business ignoring the pair.

Kalina stood there, fuming as Dominique's tirade continued. His words were like knives, cutting her to the core. She had never seen a person so angry, and she couldn't understand why he was taking his bad mood out on her.

Dominique had just lost out on a major business deal, costing him millions of dollars. He was already in a foul mood before he came to the club, and Kalina's accidental spill was the last straw. He was normally an angry man but this was a whole different ball game.

Kalina felt like a punching bag, absorbing his frustration with no way to fight back. Finally, she had had enough.

"You're a sad, angry little man, and I feel sorry for you," she said, her voice firm but not unkind. "You're clearly not happy with yourself, and you take it out on other people. I hope you find a way to be at peace with yourself." With a few more terse words, she turned and walked away, leaving Dominique standing there, his anger palpable in the air.

Dominique stood there fuming for a few minutes, his mind racing with angry thoughts. But then he made a decision - he was going to go after Kalina and tell her exactly what he thought of her rude remarks.

He stormed out of the club, but when he got outside, he realized he had no idea which direction Kalina had gone. He searched around, but she was nowhere to be found.

He felt a sinking feeling in his stomach - had he just lost his chance to put her in her place? And what if he never saw her again? The questions swirled around in his head, leaving him feeling frustrated and defeated.

Dominique started to feel like he'd blown his chance at finding closure with Kalina. He decided to head back, trying to process everything that had just happened. But as he walked down the street, he saw a flash of something out of the corner of his eye - was it her? He turned and caught a glimpse of a woman with long, red hair walking down the street. Could it be her? He started to run after her, but then she disappeared around a corner.

Dominique was left standing there, wondering if he had just seen a ghost or if it was really her.

Deciding to jut go home, Dominique pulled out his phone and called his driver slash personal bodyguard , instructing him to come pick him up at his current location.

He hung up the phone and stood there, feeling frustrated and Livid. He knew he couldn't let this go - he had to find Kalina and make her apologize. But how would he do it? he stood there, lost in though. As he waited for his driver, he became increasingly frustrated. He felt like he had been wronged, and he needed to make things right.

His driver pulled up in a sleek black 2023 Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II and as Dominique waited for the driver to open the door for him, he took a deep breath and dialed his private investigator's number. The phone rang and was answered on the second ring.

"Hello, sir. How can I be of assistance?" The investigator's voice was shaky and hesitant, clearly intimidated by Dominique.

Dominique was satisfied by the deference, but he kept his tone even and level. "I need your help tracking someone down. I have very little information about them, but I need to find them as soon as possible."

The investigator stammered, "O-of course, sir. I'll do everything I can to help you. Can you please tell me what you know about the person in question?" Dominique could sense the fear in the investigator's voice, and he relished the feeling of power it gave him.

"The person's name is unknown, but I have a vague description of their appearance. They are approximately 5'8" tall, with Long Red hair and Blue eyes. They were last seen wearing a black mid-thigh length shiny dress. That's all I have to go on." Dominique spoke quickly, keeping the investigator on his toes.

The investigator seemed to be struggling to keep up with Dominique's quick speech, but he managed to stammer out, "I understand, sir. That's not a lot to go on, but I'll do my best to find out what I can. Can you tell me anything about where the person was last seen, or any other details that might help?" Dominique thought for a moment, then said, "The person was seen at club 'Elixir'.

"Thank you for your time, sir. I'll get to work on this right away. If I find anything, I'll let you know. Until then, have a good day." And with that, the investigator hung up the phone, leaving Dominique feeling satisfied and in control.

As he settled back into the car, he felt a sense of satisfaction. He had managed to get what he wanted, without having to exert too much effort. This was how he liked things to be.

As Liam drove, he watched his boss, Dominique, through the rearview mirror. He could see the satisfied smirk on Dominique's face, and it made him uneasy. He knew his boss could be ruthless, and he wondered what the poor soul on the other end had done to deserve his boss's wrath. Liam had been driving for Dominique for years he was in the army but retired when he got injured and he started working for Dominique as soon as he recovered , he had seen him take down many people, both literally and figuratively. But something about this latest target felt different.

Liam had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. He knew that when Dominique set his sights on someone, there was no stopping him. But he couldn't help but feel a little sorry for the person on the other end . They were about to face the wrath of a man who was determined to destroy them. Liam shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. He had to focus on the road, not on his boss's twisted plans. But he couldn't help but wonder what would happen next. Would Dominique's victim be able to withstand the coming storm?

Liam knew that his boss's plans often ended in disaster, but he couldn't help but feel a little bit of morbid curiosity. He wondered what would happen next, but he knew it would probably be something terrible. As he drove, he couldn't help but think of all the people who had been caught up in Dominique's schemes. He knew that he was complicit in some way, by driving Dominique around and helping him carry out his plans. But he also knew that he couldn't do anything to stop it. All he could do was hold on for the ride, and hope that he wouldn't get dragged into the fray. But he had a sinking feeling that it was only a matter of time before he was caught up in Dominique's web of destruction. He sighed and gripped the steering wheel tighter, trying to push the thoughts from his mind. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't escape the feeling of dread that was beginning to take hold.

Liam knew that his boss had a history of causing trouble, but he didn't believe that he was capable of anything truly heinous. But he still couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He knew that Dominique was unpredictable, and he never knew what he might do next. Liam had seen him scheme and manipulate, but he hadn't seen him do anything that was truly dangerous. So he tried to push the thoughts from his mind and focus on the road ahead. But the more he tried to focus, the more his mind wandered. He found himself thinking about all the ways that Dominique could cause trouble, and his stomach started to churn. He knew that he should just focus on the task at hand, but he couldn't seem to stop his mind from racing. The more he tried to stop the thoughts, the more they kept coming. He couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was about to happen.
