Chapter 66 : New lead

I closed my eyes, trying to keep my composure. He was testing my patience here, but I had to tolerate him, regardless. Even if I particularly did not care about him, I still had to give Alex and Charlie some faces.

I stretched my neck and stared at him from behind the aisle. "If you check on the wall behind the cash register desk, there is an electrical outlet."

"Oh, so there is one here. Nice." Aslan said while making his way toward the said desk.

I hoped he would not bother me anymore after this.

My prayer seemed to be heard by God since after several minutes, there were barely any sounds from Aslan. He paid no attention to me and was busy playing with his phone. I heaved a sigh of relief.

"How come you know Noah?"

He suddenly asked me and it made me a little taken aback. I regained my senses immediately and answered, "We met when I visited your house last time."
