Chapter 24 Secret

We were sitting at the mate marking ceremony and Bellamy was holding my hand tightly. I was nervous. I hadn't seen the twins since the night of the ball, but I knew they would be watching tonight. They probably had a plan to try and make Bellamy reject me before he could mark me. Bellamy squeezed my hand and I looked up at his face. He smiled reassuringly at me as if my concern had been written all across my face. I forced myself to smile back and started to try to force myself to relax. Bellamy had said he wouldn't reject me and I told him the truth about Brandon and Brendon.
