Untamed: Forbidden Mates

What happens when you are a werewolf and you are mated to another from a race known to be your natural-born enemy, a vampire? Will their bond be strong enough to rival the opinions of their people and win? Or will their duties and responsibilities as leaders keep them apart? ***** Note, This novel Will be divided into two volumes, the first volume will tell the tales of Auriana Woods and Lyrus Donovan while the Second volume will tell tales of Astrid and Roman Blackburn. And a good kisser too

"Are you going to be alright?" Astrid asked. She and Auriana had gone to her room away from their parents. This was the best way to have a little cincersation without any of them hearingbor interrupting them. They needed a moment to themselves.

Auriana laid flat on the bed with her face buried in the pillow. She hummed even though she knew nothing would be the same anymore. "I shouldn't have blurted that out like that, right?"

"It was necessary, and I think it was a good thing that you did. They will learn if it sooner or later. Now isn't a bad idea. At least you will know what to do much quicker now," Astrid said. She brushed her fingers through Auriana's soft hair. She held a few strangds and held her on with another hand and compared them. She pouted, and et go of hers. "Your hair thicker and much more silky than mine. It makes me jealous," she said and chuckled.

Auriana raised her head and spun, now lying on her back, a smile on her lips because of what Astrid had just said. "You could change yours white," she playfully suggested, and they both laughed. "Maybe you are right, it food that I told them now. The next time I meet him, I will tell him that my parents know about him, he should know what to do after that."

"I hope he treats you well," Astrid said, clasping her hands together in a praying gesture. "He is quite the eye candy if you look past the fact thay he is a vampire," She said with a playful smirk.

"And quite a good kisser too," Auriana mumbled but quickly clasped a hand over her mouth and looked away from Astrid.

Astrid did the same, covering her mouth in a disbelieving manner. Her eyes wide with the question 'you kissed?' visible in her eyes. "Wow!" Was all that she voiced, making Auriana blush even harder than she already was.

"I couldn't help it, okay. He asked for it, so I let him," Auriana shyly said. Astrid couldn't help laughing and at the same time being envious.

"You had your first kiss, and it was your mate who got it. Tell me, how was it?" She drew closer. Although they were trained to act mature and live like the royals that they were, they were still young girls curious about such as their first kiss, who got it, and how it felt. Even going beyond a kiss.

"To be honest, I did enjoy. That was a moment I would never forget, a moment to cherish forever," Auriana replied. She instict8vely touched her lips, still able to feel his lips on them.

"I can believe that whoke I was scared to death, my nest friend was having an intimat moment with a man. Oh well, at least now I know thay I can always look fir some vampire's trouble and all i have ti do is wait fro her to give their king a kiss ans I will be free to go," Astrid with mischievous looked in her eyes.

Auriana looked at her with a warning gaze while trying to hold back her laugh. In the end, they both burst out laughing.

"Whay happened?" Astrid asked when Auriana suddenly stopped laughing and looked towards the door. Astrid also looked there thinking someone must have been there listening in on them.

"It is time to leave. My father has just given the order to get ready for our trip back to Diric," Auriana replied. Astrid's niod also fell, but this was expected. Auriana wouldnl3ave and return, and after that, they both wouldn't have anyone to share their troubles with. They will have to face them alone until they are able to meet again.

"I will walk you," Astrid said and stood up.

A knock on the door had themmlooking at it, but soon, Auriana fell back on the bed and shut her eyes. The door opened shortly later, and Hazel and Hannah could be seen standing there.

"No wonder we didn't have to answer before they opened the door," Astrid mumbled under her breath and relieved a look from Hazel, who must have heard what she said. Auriana smiled and sat up.

"It is time to leave, Auriana dear," Hannah said with a warm smile as she looked at the princess who didn't care to act like one. In a way, she envied her, but she could never dare to do that.

"I am ready to leave, Your Majesty," Auriana replied. She looked at her mother, who had a suspicious gaze and pouted.

"I heard you laughing. What were you discussing?" Hazel asked. Something told she already knew what it could be, but she wanted to hear something else.

"It's nothing much, Mother. We were just talking about what we will do when we meet our better halves, I just shared with her what I would do," She replied with an innocent smile.

Hannah smiled because it was normal for girls their age to have such conversations. It was weird how tye werewolves seem so human even though they were not. Perhaps that is why they got along so well. Meanwhile, Hazel forced a smile. She already knew Auraisn had a mate, so she was talking about what she did when she met him.

"Come on now, we have to leave before your fathers start to worry over nothing," Hazel said, and they left the room.

"Take care of yourself, okay and remember what I said before, you can always cine and stay with me if…" Auriana said, leaving the last words ominous to everyone around them but Astrid already knows what she was talking about.

"I will. You take good care of yourself as well," they said their goodbyes, and before they knew it, they were chasing the sunset on their way to Diric.

"Your friendship with the princess seems to be better than ever," Chase commented with a proud look on his face. The closer they were to the werewolf royals, the better and stronger their alliance would be. "It's such a shame tha you were nit born a man, we could have promised a marriage between you her, she likes you so much I doubt she would have had any issues with taking you as a chosen mate."

Astrud's mood fell into an abyss after what her father had said. Was marriage and politics all that her family things of? "If you permit, I would like to return to my room.

"Of course, child, but before you go, is it true that she hasn't found her mate yet?" Chase asked, and Astrid wanted to yell at him to mind his business but bit her tongue.

"Yes, Father, but she would like to spend a little more time searching for him," she replied, and the man nodded.

"If she doesn't find him soon, I might suggest the marriage between one of your brothers princess Auriana to King Edgar,' he said with a thoughtful expression.
