Tyra, Naserian's mother decided to keep up the game of helping her only daughter.. She couldn't imagine her getting married to a man old enough as her grandfather. She felt really disgusted by her husband's decision and had vowed on her life that she wouldn't let that happen to her only daughter. She herself had never been married to an old man and the only difference between her age and her husband's was thirteen years of which she considered herself lucky unlike some of her friends who were married as second and third wives during her time and all thanks to her family that had supported her all through in her life time. She had even been married at the age of twenty with her brothers chasing all the suitors away until she met her husband who happened to be close to her brothers and their marriage was successful and her family been sure she'd be happy. It took her two years before she got pregnant and had brought feuds with her husband's family whom encouraged her husband to marry a second wife since they believed she was barren. She had cried day and night but her husband had been her pillar of support. He refused to marry another wife which was against their traditions and his family disowned him saying that he didn't want to give them a kin.At that time she'd pleaded with him to do as his family wanted but he got angry at her and disappeared for a whole month. It was then that she fell really ill and her mother had to come take care of her only realizing she was pregnant. she didn't know how the news reached him wherever he was but he was so excited back then and even more when she gave birth to triplet boys but one didn't survive after one month. Nevertheless he was a proud father and had vowed not to give into the community's demands of him. He said that his wife shouldn't be blamed for her slow child bearing state and since then no one ever mentioned marriage to him not even Tyra herself. Four years later they were blessed with twins a boy and a girl. Tyra saw how he doted on their only daughter but his change recently was not acceptable and she could only imagine how her elder sons would react with how protective they were of their sister. A wa between father and sons was sure to arise.
