I had only stayed a few months in the apartment I had rented for a year when the landlord suddenly said he wanted to sell the house.

When I returned home after work late at night again, I immediately saw that my luggage had been thrown outside the door.

Helplessly, I stood in the cold wind with the suitcase in my hand as I urgently asked for help from my local indigenous best friend, Esther Lowe.

"Yvette, my dear! Why did you go back so late today?"

"A CEO is about to transfer to the company. I heard through the grapevine that he's super strict! Recently, everyone has been so busy, afraid that they'll be picked on by this CEO."

"Wow. This CEO of yours hasn't even arrived, yet he's already making a splash. I'm out of town right now. Go straight to my place, then!" said Esther without hesitation.
