When I submitted my resignation application, Gregory rejected it.

Therefore, I didn't go to work the next day and stayed home to complain to my mother about how my company's CEO exploited me.

My mom said I made the right decision in resigning. "You might as well go without this job."

I gave my mother a thumbs-up. Just then, a knock sounded on the door. When I got up and opened the door, my Pomeranian followed and hopped behind me.

I saw Gregory holding my Pomeranian with bright eyes after I opened the door. "Oh! What a cute little dog."

He glanced at me with a smile. Suddenly, he thought of something, put down the dog, and put on his usual indifferent expression.

"I hate dogs the most."

He was indeed insane.

Just when he was about to enter the house, I naturally picked up the broom by the door and stopped him. "What are you doing here?"

Gregory looked at me puzzled while occasionally glancing at the Pomeranian. "What's the meaning behind you not going to work?"
