They took him to the dining hall and made him sit on the chair and ordered the cook to serve him the broth first.

Dave started introducing everyone to his father. "And finally here are my dear sisters. He put his arm around both Lilly and Rose's shoulders, who smiled at him fondly. Dave then gave a brief explanation of what had happened. How he met them and had been a part of such a loving family. Not one, but infact two families.

Robert then found out from Tom that, Alan and Chris were the one who saved him from the suffering and gave him a new life.

"We don't know how to thank you lads. If not for you, I would not have even lasted a couple of more days." Robert thanked Alan and Chris emotionally.

"Don't mention it Sir, You are Dave's father and how can we leave our brother to suffer when we can infact do something?" Alan's words touched Roberts heart.

Alan then took a parchment and wrote a few lines and handed it over to Agnes. " Please follow the mentioned steps and feed the medication on time. He will be completely back to normal within a week."

Agnes thanked him by bowing again.

Dave looked at his father and then at Tom fondly. "I will be taking my leave father. Don't wait till the end if there is something you need me for."

Robert felt sad, but he knew that his son even if forced, will not stay. He finished the bowl of stew before he stood up and hugged Dave. "I am sorry my son. But I am truely happy that you found a family worth living for." After a few seconds hr let Dave go with a smile on his face, even though it was forced.

Dave then went to Tom, tousled his head, " Tom next year once you reach twelve enroll in the merchant's guild. You have to manage the family from now on."

Alan and williams took out two huge boxes from thwir arorage ring and placed it on the dining table. Dave looked at them, and raosed an eyebrow questioningly.

"We got the news from master Harry that your family is in a debt of 300,000 gold. Here are a bit over 300,000 gold." Williams patted Dave on his shoulder.

Agnes and Robert both look up at the boys in shock. Who shrugged their shoulders nonchalantly.

"No lads, its yours. You keep it. It should be the emergency funds you have. Anyways I am fine now. I will make sure the debts are cleared in next few years. You had already given me a second life. Don't overburden yourself." Robert said shaking his head.

"Don't worry sir Robert, This is not an emergency fund for us. Its a part of what we all earned in these past couple of years. And a fool once..... no its thrice now right Al, Wil." Bob asked the others and got an appoving nod. "Right, he, I mean a fool told us that gold doesn't have any value infront of relationships. So that fool now had deeply imprinted those words into our hearts. He went to Dave and smiled placing his arm over his shoulder and pulling him into a head lock. Right, right..... Dave struggled to get out of the choke hold. Making others smile.

"I am being targeted and teased by this, "Family over gold proverb which I myself once foolishy made. Again....". "Dave rubbed his neck after getting free from Bob's hold.

Agnes came towards Dave hesitantly then hugged him crying. "I am truely sorry Dave. I know I was the reason you left the house. I was the one who failed to properly fulfill my role as a mother to you. Please forgive me."

Dave returned the hug and warmly smiled. A tear dropping down his eye. " Don't worry mother, there is nothing to forgive. As I told you, I truely am happy now. Happier in these past few years than I had ever been.

Tom hugged him again crying. "Don't worry Tom. If you need anything send message to The Morgan's of Green Town or to The Heathrow's of the Winden City. I will come as soon as I can. If I am not able to come, My family will make sure you are being taken care of." Dave looked at the boys and the girls infront of him fondly. Everyone noded their head in agreement. Even Irene noded her head, unknowingly considering herself as a part of their family.
