Alan's girlfriend !!!

Excellent. Now we will have all of our grandchildren with us. And even Irene will be here. What a joyous news..... Elizabeth was beaming happily. Helen also was smiling warmly.

"Lads how come this sudden decision?" Harry asked curiously.

"Its been too long since we were away from our family, so we thought of stayinh for a couple of years before leavinh for the university." Williams explained.

"Excellent then," Harry beamed. "Come to the academy before leaving to the capital. I will also join you guys. It's been more than a decade since I had seen the King." Harry said with a distant look in his eyes.

No way that's going to happen. You will make our life hell again." Ben shook his head without thinking.

"Lads, Irene is also planning to go to the university after 2 years. Can she join you guys on you journey? Don't worry our soldiers will escort you all." Instead of asking them to join, Samuel's tone was one of request. Having witnessed the abilty of these lads himself, he was quite sure that Irene will be the safest if she can travel with them. The boys were taken aback by this. They had never traveled with anyone else in these past 4 years except themselves and Harry.

Befor anyone could say anything, Harry laughed loudly, " The more, the Merrier."

Samuel and Lillian beamed and bowed their head happily. Victor also noded his head in approval.

Dinner was a happy affair, it was the boy's reunion with their family after 4 years and a feast to everyone.

While having their dinner, Alan suddenly stiffened for a second and then relaxed. After a couple of seconds the other boys also stiffened and looked at Alan, once he noded his head they all relaxed. Being ex-adventures and a General, James, John and Victor were more observant and attentive than others, and looked at the boys with concern.

"Don't worry, its Alan's girlfriend." Dave grinned mischievously.

Everyone from Morgan's and Heathrow's spat out the food in their mouth, coughing.... and looked at Alan in shock. All the boys and Harry started laughing.

"It's nothing like thay everyone. Its the beast. She is outside waiting for me." Alen glared at Dave who was still laughing....

Oh.... everyone let out a sigh or relief but the Morgan's looked a bit dejected. Especially Helen.

After finishing the dinner. Everyone went outside, curious to see the legendary beast. Kevin the guard captain was briefing something to the guards, it was about time dor him to call it a day. As soon as he saw the boys, he smiled widely and waved his hand in acknowledgement.

Alan smiled, waved abck and went to him, we are having a visitor now, don't panic. And no matter how you feel, don't try to attack it. Alan's words left Kevin and the guards in confusion, but as Alan turned and called into the dark, " Come out now." They were dumbfounded and stood like statues with absolute terror.

A tall, black beast with feline grace was walking towards Alan surveying the area and the others present there. It was as tall as a war horse. Muscular body, shiny black fur, intense yellow glowing eyes in the dark, large canines and the pressure it exuded made the guards and the others shiver visibly.

Kevein, took a few deep breaths, " Alan, what is ... ?"

"Don't panic. You can say, this is... ah.... our new friend." Alan announced loudly and started walking towards the beast, looking at the panther with a raised eyebrow. It purred and came to Alan . It lowered its head and started rubbing its face on Alan's body. Smiling Alan started to scratch its chin getting a contented purr out of its throat.

After playing for a couple of minutes, Alan asked, " What do you want girl? Why do you wanted to meet me here?"

The large cat, stopped It's playful purr and looked into his eyes intently before growling for a few seconds. "Ah, I didn't do it out of any expectations. You can go to your home and get back to being the queen of your territory. " Alan said patting its head.

The cat purred and took off in a blink of an eye. Everyone there except the boys and Harry almost felt like it vanished from the spot and gasped in surprise.

"Alan dear...?" Helen asked in both awe and fear clearly visible in her eyes.

"Don't worry grandma, It wanted to thank me for healing it. I think she had brought something to give me." Alan shrugged.

Big brother, Rose pouted in disappointment. Don't worry Rose I will ask her as soon as she comes back.
