The end before The beginning 1

 In the serene village of Earthen guard, which was situated at the far reaches of the continent was cradled by ancient forests and babbling brooks, the morning sun shine bathed the whole village with its warm radiance. People were already awake and were doing their daily chores they went about like it was any ordinary day.

At the far side of the village was a small cottage and in one of the rooms a figure could be seen waking up from bed "Early morning already!!, I would have to be fast or else I would be late for the ceremony". He quickly prepared and went out of the the cottage rushing towards the most magnificent building in the whole village. The figure was known as Eldric Von Vertblade he was a 12 year old boy of average height, average build, this would make one think he was malnourished. He had a handsome face with naturally supple eyebrows, long eyelashes, a straight nose ,thick lips and white skin. His beauty was enough to make even nobles jealous of him; With his white hair combined with the pair of golden eyes he looked like a member of a royal family. After a while he reached his destination, he was breathing heavily as if he had experienced a near death experience. In front of him stood the magnificent celestial temple of Earthen guard which was holding its awakening ceremony for the children who had reached the age of twelve.

The world that Eldric lives in is called Empyreal continent. In the Empyreal continent there are three empires: The Ardentia Empire, Elden Empire and the Holz Empire where Eldric reside.

The Ardentia Empire had the largest territory, and it spanned three-sevenths of the land. It was a land filled with resources and wealth it was also a powerful Empire, it served as a political, cultural and economic center for the continent, where ideas are exchanged, alliances are formed and destinies are shaped. 

 The Elden Empire was where the Celestial palace resided and for that reason it was known to have various many people from all over the continent it was were Spirit masters would gather in order to test their strength. Due to this the Elden Empire had the strongest military power in the whole continent.

 The Holz Empire where Eldric lived was known for its beautiful landscapes and educational system. They focused on training the young generation immediately the are 12 years old honing their skills for the benefit of the Empire aside its educational system and landscapes it had rich culture.

Though these Empires are different they are united because of their common enemy that had almost caused their extinction, the demon race which resided in the Eastern part of the continent .

 In the Eastern Plains, The demon race which had appeared on the Empyreal continent of out no where and began fighting the human race and expanding their territory. The high rank demons had looks similar to humans while the low ranked ones had looks to that of beasts. They are ambitious and aggressive and see humans as live stock. The two plains are separated by the Azure Mountain range and fortresses where built to protect the human territories from the invasion of the demon race. With this humans were able to battle the demon race for centuries and lived in peace.

 In this world, there are many elemental attributes but there a six main types that people are born with, these are the Water, fire, earth, light, wind and dark attributes and the are some attributes which are born which don't be to the main six groups.

 As he was trying to catch his breath an elderly man walked up from behind and had whacked him in the head with his walking stick. Eldric held his head whiles screaming in pain he turned around to see who had done such an act, the moment he saw the person behind his pain his angry mood changed to that of an obedient dog. "Grandpa that really hurt, why would you hit me in the first place"

This old man was none other than Stan Von Vertblade the chief of Earthen guard village he was also Eldric's grandfather, Stan stared at him quietly before speaking up "You idiot how can you be late for the ceremony I have been waiting for you for hours hurry up inside they are about to start". Without a second thought Eldric rushed in the building to join the others.

 At the age of twelve the children would be sent to the celestial temple in order to take part in this ceremony. This wasn't anything special to begin with but it was done to mark the children's coming of age and it was at this moment that a child's potential would be measured and it was at this age that they would know what their affinity was. Due to his lateness Eldric had to wait in line until it was his turn. He looked at his surrounding and noticed something weird of all those who were taking part in the ceremony he was the only who was being stared at from all sides and made him feel uneasy, Eldric was never seen in the village since he was young and this was because of his training. Right after birth the children of the Empyreal continent would be trained at the age of six in swordsmanship and combat and they would learn how to control their spiritual energy before their coming of age ceremony.

 Eldric was different he was able to wield spiritual energy since birth and for this reason why he was rarely seen in the village. Moments later it was his turn he walked onto what seemed to be an alter where a man dressed in priest clothing was waiting for him.

 The man took his hand and with a needle pricked Eldric's finger he then placed his bleeding finger above a crystal ball letting the blood drop on it . Soon after the crystal ball started glowing and dissipated turning into light particle and entered his body, He begun to feel a burning sensation followed by a refreshing one. Ten spheres appeared out of thin air hovering around him the spheres where releasing a golden radiance which illuminated the whole room but minutes later all ten spheres had turn dark and golden half being golden whiles the other side being dark.

 Stan had a shocked expression at first but later his lips could be seen curving upwards making a smile appear on his face, the same expression could be seen on the faces of all those who had gathered around to witness the ceremony. Finally the ceremony was over , he was now an adult and surprisingly he had also awaken his affinity to the light and dark element. But just as they say every good thing comes to an end, out of know where the earth began to shake and the building had began to collapse the people immediately rushed of out the building without hesitation.

Stan quickly grabbed Eldric's hand and took him out of the building but just as they got outside they were met by a group of people clad in armor in the air and each group was led by other figures whose appearance and impression could even a stupid man that they were not of human compression. 

When Stan saw this he bit his lips and cursed, the surrounding villagers also seemed to know what was going on the only person lost was Eldric. Whiles he stood beside Stan he looked at the people above them and couldn't help but be marveled by them, whiles looking at them something humanly impossible happened the sky was torn into two and from the void a figure appeared when the others saw this they all went their knees without knowing it .

But it was a different story for Stan and Eldric they both stood their ground as they watched the figure descend, after a while the figure landed in front of Stan and Eldric. The figure was adorned in robes of celestial fabric formed from the essence of the stars, his every movement was imbued with purpose and significance. He stood tall and imposing, his eyes were gleaming with ancient wisdom and unfathomable knowledge, when Eldric's eyes met the figure's he felt that the person before him was peering into his soul.

" Just how long would you keep up with this God of war , you of all people should know that anything decided by the counsel cant be changed unless you have enough power to take them on but seeing the people you gathered here am not sure you are ready to go for do so" He spoke with a voice that resonates with thunder.

Eldric was confused by what the figure said he didn't know anyone known as the God of war and it was his first time encountering such situation. Whiles in thought Stan was enveloped by a bright light the light was so blinding that he couldn't be seen, after a while the light vanished .When Eldric opened hid eyes he could see Stan dressed in a battle armor and his demeanor and appearance were now on the same level as the figure before them.

"To think they would send the Sun God this time how thoughtful of the counsel" Stan said with a hint of fear in his eyes"

He turned to Eldric and saw the confused boy staring back at him with eyes saying what the hell is going on grandpa, but as he looked at him his heart felt warm though he was strict on him he truly loved Eldric.

" Listen my boy I cant tell you anything but promise me you would survive and when the time is ready all you need to know would be revealed and make sure that when we meet again you would be known through out the world like you always said."

Eldric understood what was going on but didn't want to accept it, he knew what was already going to happen seeing how everyone around him were all on edge and their gazes on him he knew from the start that he was the one this people wanted.
