Chapter 28 The Wrath of the Wang Family

Chen Feng's words effectively shattered the last strand of hope for the Wu Family.

"Chen Feng, you little beast! For a mere five million, you would drive us to our deaths! Do you have no conscience at all?" Wu Sheng's eyes bulged with indignation as he spoke.

"The money has already been spent! Not a penny left! We have no money, only our lives! If you dare, kill us for it!" Mrs. Wu also said defiantly.

Clearly understanding that there was no possibility of mending their relationship with Chen Feng, they simply resorted to shamelessness, after all, this was a society governed by rule of law. Even if Chen Feng wanted his money, he couldn't possibly kill them, right?
