Here to Stay

"Yuna… Your father's coming home pretty late today."

She looks up and turns around to face Baekhyun who was leaning on her doorframe. It was kind of odd for her father to come home quite late or not come home at all.

When she had first heard that he will be working at home, she was nervous at first; she thought that she would have felt more lonely if he was present at home but mentally absent; she had thought that she would probably end up in her room all alone once more… not that it has ever bothered her before. Somehow, the thought of it was weighing her down.

"Yuna! Want to have like a group study!"

"A what?"

Growing up, Yuna didn't know how to make friends. She was either comfortable being by herself or she was always moving. She tends to miss out on a lot activities that kids her age usually does… and she doesn't even know it. She had an idea but she paid no mind to it, thinking that she didn't need it at all.
