21 Chapter Nineteen:

“So, Mr. A, what did you do before you became a teacher? Did you just get out of college?” Nobury asked as Adrian was cooking them lunch, he temporarily froze and the students looked at each other.

“Uh, I actually graduated college rather early. My last job, I was...taking care of people.” He said, he wasn’t exactly lying but it wasn’t the taking care of people one would think in a good way.

“Oh, that’s cool. You must have been a genius like Nori.”

“Yeah, though I am the very definition of being a genius and slow at the same time.” Adrian said laughing and Nobury caught onto what he meant.

“Well, don’t let Nori know that.”

“Oh trust, me I won’t.” Adrian hummed slightly as he stirred the food that was cooking. Adrian realized that Hayato was quiet but he had gotten used to it. Adrian turned the stove off and made the two food and placed them in front of the two boys. That’s when Adrian saw Ido, smiling innocently and Adrian’s face was in shock.
