A single red orc is counted as a Blue ranked monster, and a whole pack would raise their difficulty to Yellow.
But, what about a whole camp?
A single pack usually consists of five groups while a group consists of individuals. The group would range from two to seven orcs, while a pack ranged from ten to less than forty.
A camp is like a whole clan of monsters. It normally consists of more than three packs. And in this case, it seemed like there were at least six or seven packs of red orcs settling down at the same spot.
When a monster started to group up, their danger level rose by one. But when a group and another group grouped up, their danger level went even higher.
So, how should we rank a red orc camp that has at least two hundred red orcs present? At the very least, a higher Yellow. That is being generous without considering other factors and only the red orcs.
That alone is already the same difficulty as a nearly evolved Lesser dragon, a dragon with four wings. And such a dragon can terrorize a kingdom if not dealt with properly.
Now, let's consider other outside factors that WILL make this situation a ton more concerning. It is the fact that such camp will not occur randomly, and there has to be a reason behind it.
For example, a goblin kingdom existed because multiple goblin packs bowed down to one singular king. As a result, they created a highly dangerous group with the most dangerous among them leading from behind.
That is why I am very concerned. If there's over two hundred red orcs here, one question sticks inside my head the most.
What the hell is leading all of them? Because unlike goblins, orcs very rarely bunch up like this. Goblins are already a low ranking monster to begin with, so their king is, at the highest, a Blue ranked opponent.
Red orcs are Blue ranked, weakest. What in the living fuck is leading all two hundred of them? A dragon??
As of right now, it doesn't really matter. Because at this camp, it doesn't seem like their leader is present anywhere.
Over fifty red orcs have died in a span of one minute. I've been killing them non-stop ever since I jumped down from the cliff, and I see no signs of their boss anywhere.
In that case... let's continue.
"Woah... She is insane."
Valey watched from the sides after finally reaching her side of the battlefield. She watches the fight that is going on as she climbs a ladder to get up into the orc camp's watchtower.
Hod arrives at his desired position, but what stands in his face is an elite of the red orc camp. An orc with gray skin, height three times taller than a red orc, almost as tall as a troll.
A high orc, Yellow ranked. It is not the camp's leader, but is still one of the commanding characters.
"Oh dear..."
Hod mumbled, and this will not be easy for him.
"RUAAAAA!!"
BARRRR!!
The high orc swung its gigantic sword towards Hod, but Hod immediately dodged to the right.
"Tch!! Sorry Rize. Looks like I won't be able to help you out!"
He jumps again when the orc is attacking. Meanwhile, on the main bloody court, I'm here in the middle of the battlefield, slaying a ton of Blue ranked red orcs every second.
Thank god for the water proof robes and the mask. Otherwise, I would be heavily soaked with blood right now. The warmth and the scent of blood made me really want to puke, but I have to hold the puke for later. Right now, I have to kill these bastards.
And since their leader is nowhere in sight... I can go crazy all I want.
SLING!!
SLING!!
SLING!!
SHRESHH!!
Just like that, three orcs lost their heads, with one extra who got cut in half top to bottom. I could see their insides very clearly, but I decided to look away immediately since there are more enemies to kill.
With my two swords, both enhanced, I slashed the orcs with the rate of two orcs per second. I've never gone this fast on a killing spree before, not even against the goblins last month.
For sure, my strength kept increasing immensely every single day. The current me cannot be compared even close to the me that killed the goblins.
Every single red orcs here has the same rank as the goblin king, a bunch of Blue ranked monsters, at least according to the Adventurer's Office ranking. Of course, there are other factors that can arguably put the goblin king much higher in position than these red orcs, but it is still just wild to think that not even Blue ranked monsters can touch me right now.
Not a blade, not an arrow, not even a simple punch has landed on my body ever since the battle began. And my blades danced peacefully, drawing and spraying blood into the air cruelly.
At this point, I don't feel too sick from the blood anymore.
I feel... undefeated.
SLING!
SLING!
SLING!
TANG!!
One orc managed to block my sword with his, which made me open my eyes wide. It was the very first time anyone ever blocked me, and I was certain this orc might be more skilled than others.
Of course, no matter how skilled that orc is, it's still unacceptable.
SHRESHH!!!
From top to bottom, my sword sliced through his body flawlessly, and the two pieces fell to the sides. The insides spurt out towards me, but I've already started running again.
This is just... insanity. Honestly, these guys are Blue ranked?
I could understand if they are alone, but when they are stacked, they don't seem to be any good.
Or perhaps... this was never a fair battle to begin with?
If there was a way to rank an adventurer based purely on their skills... what rank would I place?
The White ranked adventurers... The Greatest Magician, the dwarf who can lift mountains, and the Dragon King. How strong were they truly? And how will I do if compared to them?
Such questions do get me excited, but this is not the time to be concerned about such things. There are still more orcs to kill, and I have to focus.
SLIINGGG!!!
JREBB!
All of a sudden, a very fast object flew from the side and stabbed an orc in front of me on the head. I followed the arrow's origin, and I can see Valey from the top of the tower.
She gave me a thumbs up before loading five arrows to her bow at the same time. The five arrows flew and killed exactly five orcs that were coming around me from all directions, all at the same time with insane accuracy.
D-Damn... So, this is what it means to be the best female archer. Truly a title that fits her.
I gave her a thumbs up back, then I disappeared into a brown blur again to kill even more red orcs. There are still plenty of orcs to kill, and the job is far from done.
BAAARRRR!!
Meanwhile, Hod is still having a lot of problems with the high orc. The swings from the high orc's sword demolish his ice magic faster than he can make it. He has been fighting for a long time now, and only now he realizes what makes this battle so difficult.
"Tch... That huge sword is getting annoying!"
Hod quickly swiped his hands while holding his rapier sword. His mouth speaks out magical chants while his right hand stabbed the thin sword to the ground.
"Ice Spikes!"
With the final command, a path of ice spikes shows up from the bottom of his sword to the high orc that he was fighting. A single huge ice spike grew from the ground and hit the orc's giant blade away until it was thrown away.
"HURH!!!!"
Contrary to Hod's belief, the high orc doesn't care about the sword. It started hitting with its bare hands.
BAARR!!
BAARRR!!
The ground gets destroyed as the orc punches Hod's ice spikes. Seeing that it has gone physical, Hod used this chance to summon even more ice spikes.
ZZRIIINGG!!
More ice spikes went the orc's way, and the biggest one landed on the chin. The high orc fell to the ground holding its jaw, and Hod did not miss this chance.
"Now. Freeze!!"
Hod shoots up a white wind at high speed towards the giant high orc. The white wind starts freezing the high orc from the feet all the way to the head.
"ROAAAA-A---"
The high orc was frozen while screaming, and its pressure disappeared after getting the entire body frozen. Seeing that his opponent has been defeated, Hod fell on his butt.
"Wahh... That was tiring..."
Hod mumbled without care, but then it just crossed his mind that his friends are fighting the army of orcs.
"Oh! Rize and Valey!"
He immediately stood back up and ran to the gate that he was supposed to enter. He was supposed to take care of the orcs on this side, but he couldn't because of the high orc. He definitely thought that he messed up, because not taking care of this side means that all the red orcs will focus on the other two sides.
But by the time he entered the gate, the fight was already over.
He looked around the battlefield looking for his friends, but all he could see were the dead bodies of the two hundred red orcs in this large court. The heavy scent of bloodbath can be smelled flawlessly from the place he stood, and Hod can only open his eyes wide to this horrifying view.
"What... the hell...?"
Hod couldn't believe what he is seeing, and his eyes continued peering through the blood-stained battlefield. He then landed his gaze onto two individuals sitting on top of a watchtower, and he immediately focused on the two.
"Yo! Hod!!"
A familiar individual called for him quite cheerfully, but his eyes only opens wider. Right behind his friend, an ominous shadow sat quite closely.
THe shadow had red hair and red eyes, glaring at him with intense pressure and cruel eyes. Hod can clearly see the horrifying aura that the shadow exudes, and he quickly sheds into cold sweat.
"A... Devil...?"
Hod muttered, unable to believe his eyes. He then decided to blink, but then the entire world changed.
The world turned dark red. The scent of blood on the ground turned ten times heavier for him. The ominous aura he sensed from the shadow became a hundred times more vibrant, and the nightmare turned his entire body frozen.
The red eyes... the cold glare of the devil is far too much for him to handle.
How... can such a thing exist?
With enough courage, Hod blinked his eyes once more. In that instant, the world around him changed once more.
The skies turned blue, and the air became cold once more. The mountain wind breezes past his skin peacefully, wiping away the scent of blood that is no longer as thick.
Sitting on the watchtower are two very beautiful ladies with colorful hairs. One had blonde gold-ish hair with a hunting hat on, and the other had dark red hair.
The red eyes that were previously glaring coldly at him have now turned into confusion, and Hod can only keep blinking his eyes to realize what just happened.
"... Ah.
I must be hallucinating. After all... What demon could kill this many red orcs by herself?"
Hod muttered to himself as he cautiously started walking to the watchtower.
Not knowing what he saw that day was genuine.
