Is there a helper of humanity?

When I open my eyes, a scent of blood suddenly makes me regain my focus from the dizziness caused by the extreme pain in my body.

What? I think to myself, "

When my sight becomes clear, I see a view of a dark red sticky substance, which is certainly blood, getting closer to me at an enormous speed. I had glanced at glittering lights from both sides.

"Huh?"

No! Am I being eaten?

I suddenly realized that the glittering points of light were its shining teeth whooshing into me with no reserve.

No time delayed, I kicked the monster as fast as I could, holding its big mouth with my whole strength.

The monster has been sent backward, bumping into the gigantic trees.

"Pant... pant..."

This is not good; I am losing all my reasons. I failed to use the equipment my father built.

Ahhh... I guess it doesn't matter now.

This will be the last. If there is still no effect on that monster after using this, then this will be the end for me.

I set my gears to be adaptable for sudden changes of mode. This is the last mode this equipment has, though not the best. The best mode was wasted because of my own errors; my poor understanding of justice has failed me!

"I still do not understand what fathers meant by that judicial decision that is required for this equipment," I muttered as I started changing to the adaptable mode.

Well then,

I walk in the direction of the monster, walking calmly. -

Let us see how things change. I dashed, held its head on the palm of my right hand, and cast it forcefully to the ground. The impact caused the whole mountain to burst into pieces.

I can hear this annoying shrieking as I push this monster down against the soil. It really gives me irritation rather than fear.

The monster moves swiftly, and I have not been able to react. The next thing I knew, my head was already on its hands, being crushed to pulp.

I immediately responded by sending a kick to its stomach, but it blocked it with its other self that was coming out of its own body.

But the attack was stronger than its block, causing the monster to be pushed back several steps.

However, obviously irritated, it attacks more fiercely and aggressively.

My mode, which makes me capable of switching anytime, is a skill where the power I use for speed is transferred to strength, or the power I use for strength is transferred to speed.

As of now, I am using 50 percent speed while having 150 percent strength. This is good enough. Even though I cannot block all of this monster's attacks due to its speed, I can hold my ground and keep fighting without being blown away.

The monster took a moment and let out a breath.

It makes me wonder why, but...

"Bwaah!!!, wh....what?"

The next time it moved, I felt a cold sensation in my chest. Blood pours out of my mouth as I look down to see what happened.

"huh?!!"

Its hand penetrates my body!

"No... way!!!"

I suddenly changed to 200 percent speed, leaving my strength empty so that I could run to get my sword.

Even at this speed, this monster is just behind me, its hand open, ready to tear me to whatever it likes.

I summon lights to be my barrier and to slow down the damned creature, but it only helps so very little as this monster only goes through it, making it look like water.

"My sword, where is my sword?"

I am looking around for it, panicking really bad that my lip is trembling, causing the blood on it to spread on my face.

Well, that was really bold of me to fight the monster in hand-to-hand combat. I am so bold that I am thinking to myself now that I was crazy to expect such a situation.

Finally, I had a glimpse of the sword. I get it right away, waiting with no assurance for my movements, for this monster is just behind me, longing for my tear-up limbs.

I create a barrier where I can push my leg to increase the speed of falling directly to the ground. Upon landing, I immediately grabbed the sword, and without second thought, I turned around, for I knew this monster was following me.

My sword is whooshing as I turn to my back while changing the percentage of power from speed to strength. As expected, the monster got a hold of the sword without trouble and had its other hand rushing into me like a famished predator that just found its prey.

150...180...200 percent!

"Haaaaa!!!" I shouted, using my full power to drive the monster away.

The sword on the monster's hand glows brightly and gets massively charged by an enormous amount of power. The monster's grip over my sword loosens a little, which I take advantage of.

"Die! You demon!" I am yelling out of effort, casting the astonished monster.

"I will preserve the peace of this kingdom."

I muttered

"Get him!!!..."

While I spoke in a very loud voice, the only thing on my mind was the happiness I and everyone else had while living in unity.

"This is my judgment! I had decided you to be gone! You are not worthy of living, for you are an obstacle to peace!"

The monster is being pushed backward as I am trying to slash him sideways. At the moment, my whole body started to glow, and some star-shaped lights started to flow from my body.

What? What is this? I think to myself, "I have no idea what is happening.

Suddenly, I felt calm and like my body was refreshed.

"Wha...?"

No more thinking; I use the opportunity to attack the monster forcefully.

Shwooog... The monster was blown upward. I immediately take off and follow, ready to attack. The glittering stars flowing out from me keep entering my sword, which makes it massive and a little heavy. I then use it to slash the monster in the face.

I was surprised by the result. It makes me slightly smile, but with uncertain eyes.

"I do a scratch? It is a scratch, right?" I talk to myself.

The monster attacked me hastily in my very front, and obviously I responded with a slash. He got his body scratched after receiving the blow from me. He takes a step back for a moment.

I frowned

"I see. I will definitely kill you, monster."

The monster is standing and looking at me, which is what I also do. We stared at each other for quite a moment in the cold atmosphere and dark surroundings. I can hear whooshes from calmly moving winds, sounds of leaves being pushed from their trees, sounds of different birds tweeting different sounds, and this annoying shriek from this creature's breathing.

It is so quiet that I can hear the sounds from the ground and here in the sky.

The whole place is filled with darkness, as if it is already nighttime.

"Well, whatever, I will end this now," I said to myself.

I begin to move and assault the monster. It reacts and calms its hand, prepared for battle. We both disappear from our positions and create bright lines in the sky.

In the sky, we change blows and strikes, causing sparks that produce beautiful scenes in this dark, full day.

You can see the people's faces crying in the kingdom. They have their eyes focused on the lights, which only make them cry more. The light that engulfs the kingdom gives them a feeling of calmness and peace of mind. Giving them the reason to put their tears to their fullest, for they feel the safety to finally mourn over the dead bodies of their loved ones.

After all, they cannot afford to lose their lives one after the other, which means they have to put themselves into safety, leaving their dead family behind. This kingdom really values the meaning of life. But for sure, leaving your dead family's body is not that easy. A feeling that could lead a person to rest in peace.

However, everything ends in an instant, for I did not even have enough knowledge of what happens. After a moment of changing blows, the fight gets worse; I don't know what is what anymore. The only thing I know is that I am swinging my sword. Fortunately for this unknown phenomenon that keeps flowing out of me, I have been able to hold out in the battle for at least 1 minute or so.

I then fall to the ground, followed by this horror-type monster.

You can see from afar when I fall to the ground that a light glows really strongly the moment I touch the ground.

The power I've been saving up since that time the star-shaped lights showed up out of nowhere is the attack I will use as the last one.

Every 100 percent of the speed's, strength's, and sword's power plus this unknown light, which is probably at 700 percent, makes up a 1000 percent powerful final blow.

I parry the monster to the side, which makes it fly forcefully, clearing the following mountains on its way.

It was just the force of parrying, which means the power I compressed has yet to explode.

And then... Kaboogsh!!! -

A very strong explosion that creates a very dazzling circle, sucking everything in its range helplessly to its inside, appears. Looking at it is even enough to make the eye burst.

I am not aware that the attack I use is that dangerous.

I "sigh" as I lay down on the ground with my arms and legs wide open in the soft soil, relaxing myself as I look up to the sky, waiting for it to be clear.

I am amazed at how dark the whole place gets.

"Of course there is no star in the sky, huh?"

I talk to myself.

I have been wondering how the sky gets this dark when...

when everything slowly gets reddish and suddenly turns back to being dark.

"Wha..."

I was not even surprised that much.

I look towards the monster, and I see its figure.

I contracted my eyes at the moment and spoke...

"Well, at least you got half of your body totally destroyed."

I sigh

You can see me in a position where I am leaning against a fallen tree with my left hand's elbow resting in the knee of my left leg.

From that view, heading towards my right, is a ravaged arm caused by casting the last blow.

" Pant... Pant "

I am catching my breath, waiting for my death, when the thick smoke in the back of the monster clears.

" No..."

A glowing light caused the monster to turn on its back.

What you can see there is...

The border of the "kingdom," where the barrier is seen glowing brightly.

"No. Get away from there."

"Where are you going?!"

"Can you see me?! I am here!"

I am running really slowly due to powerlessness in the kingdom's direction while calling out very loud.

"Aaargh... hey!!!"

The thing I see makes me feel like I have been drained out of hope, which makes me fall to my knees, kneeling on the ground.

"aa...aargh...aaaaargh!!!"

I cried out very hard, with my tears pouring down to the ground because of grief, grudges, and resentment.

This damned monster's ravaged body was back to normal as if it were nothing!!!

After that attack? How come there is a monster at this level? Is humanity only a stranger here on earth after all?

That was the only time I accepted the truth.

"Humans are just the smartest kind of animals, after all."

I am saying these things while having a hopeless look at the monster that is entering the kingdom. I see its figure behind the clear blue light. I suddenly imagined the slaughter going on.

"Run...everyone..."

I talk slightly, knowing no one will hear me.

Upon uttering it, something flashed at the sky.

I raise my head slowly, showing no interest, for I don't care what is what anymore.

"Huuuu...h?" My reaction, in which I speak the word pretty long, indicates that I can see the situation but neither understand nor want to understand what is happening.

The sky at the top of the kingdom glows brightly with a flame color. Finally, clouds have been seen, shining through the flames reflection. Thereafter, a blazing fire falls on the whole kingdom with a very extreme density on it, as if it were compressed and now raging, doing everything, just to slip away.

I close my eyes, saying,

"No matter what it is, one thing is certain: it's death!"

"Why are you worried, everyone?"

"Huh?" I reacted, for I heard a voice.

I open my eyes to know what is happening, and I see a guy at the top of the kingdom speaking in a loud voice.

"Have you no god? Or what?"
