Chapter 47 Daddy and Mommy

Edward didn't leave immediately. He stood by the desk with a hesitant expression. "Your mother came just after you went to work this morning."

Caballero looked up with deep and dark eyes.

Edward avoided Caballero's gaze with a guilty conscience. And he said respectfully, "I was going to call you, but Ms. Hamilton stopped me from doing that."

"Was she looking for Angela?" Caballero asked without any hint of emotion in his eyes.

"Yes."

"What did she say?" After asking, Caballero picked up his fork and began to eat the pasta.

Edward simply repeated the conversation that happened this morning. He did this because he felt that Angela was the only person who could bring Caballero happiness.

Edward hoped that Angela and Caballero could keep their relationship, regardless of whether the relationship was true or not.

"Alright," Caballero said in a low voice.
