Chapter thirty

The four of them just stared at each other in the room.

" I told you, they knew " Amanda tapped his back.

" no need to be shy " Anthony smiled.

" I'm not shy" Kelvin replied looking at the ground.

" then why are you staring at the ground.

" my feet are big" he yelled.

" stop abeg. Kelvin so are you willing to tell her? " Amanda asked.

" what if she nor con like me ( what if she doesn't like me?) " Kelvin asked worried.

" don't worry, we all know that she likes you" Anthony said.

" yes, she always ask of you, call you, blush when you tell her something nice, and anytime she comes, she is either with Amanda or with you. But she is mostly with you" Samuel said it as if he was preaching.

" my friend " Amanda said with a down voice as she turned her head left and right. Both Anthony and Samuel laughed.

Later, Amanda left the room, and on her way to her room. She kept on thinking about Praise and Kelly. How catcher brother date her best friend?, if one. thing goes wrong in their relationship, then she will be involved. There she bumped into her mom...

" what's wrong? " her mom asked worried.

" nothing " replied then ran inside her room. As she entered the room, she picked her phone to call Fabian...

" hello, my baby" Fabian said with a sleepy voice.

" you still dey sleep? ( are you still alright? ) " she asked.

" n...no... no" the way he said it, shows that he was trying to wake himself up.

" I'll call later " her voice became low.

" no, don't worry. What do you want to tell me, or do you just want to hear my voice? "

" well, I want to tell you that... " she paused.

" promise you won't tell anybody "

" promise " he replied.

" Kelvin likes Praise " she whispered.

" no, it might not be good, if they both argue, I might get involved and lose one person "

" no Amy bae. They both love you that even if they fight, they will still want to be with you" he said.

" okay, see what you will do, if you still doubt. Ask the both of the separate, if one day they date each other, will they get you involved in their argument? " Fabian suggested.

" you're right. You are one of the best " Amanda smiled.

" wetin you wan use money do? ( what do want to use money to do?) " he asked playfully.

" which kind yeye question be this na?, wetin there dey use money dey do? ( what kind of stupid question is that?, what do they use money to do?) " she asked as she was already getting upset.

" no vex, oya tell me ( don't be angry, tell me) " he apologized.

" how much will that cost? "he asked.

" for hair? " he yelled surprised.

" yes na. Before I will buy attachment, buy other things, then pay the salon woman " she replied.

" buy which things? " he asked.

" nor dey ask me yeye questions o ( stop asking me stupid questions o) " she yelled.

" okay okay, I will send the money enter you account " he said.

" good" she smiled.

" I love you" he said.

" okay, bye" she said as she wanted to cut the call, but...

" wait" he hurried.

" love you too" he said then Amanda cut the call.

An hour later, Amanda went to Praise's house. They were both talking about yahoo boys ( fraudsters ).

" Amanda, if I date yahoo boy, I go chop money eh" Praise said as she was pressing her new phone.

" go find one, make you chop money na( go out and look for one, then spend his money) " Amanda said.

" you'd own good o, you don't set date yahoo boy" Praise smirked.

" don't worry you will get your own yahoo boy soon" Amanda encouraged her.

" thank you for believing in me" Praise smiled.

They talked and played for almost an hour, and suddenly they heard gun shots and...

" thieves, thieves ooo, arm robbers " people yelling outside. The thieves ended up standing in the front door of Praises house.
