Chapter 26(Ulbe Kingdom)

Thousands of years passed. Now the humans, beehumans, and emberhumans were already at the start of the iron age. A certain dynasty has pissed off Siraj. One might ask why. They have the genius idea of pretending to be his descendants. To him, it was not a problem in itself that they pretend to be his descendants, after all, according to him who wouldn't want to believe that they are his descendants?

The root of the problem was that they overtax their people, participate in land slave traffic and make use of the first night law all in the name of Siraj. This family claims that as they descend from a god, they have the right to do whatever they want with mortals, and any sight of discontent is a rebellion against the supreme god Siraj himself.

How can this family escape a holy crusade from the Great Siraj's kingdom? Their kingdom is a landlocked nation in the northwest of the human continent, literally in the opposite direction of Siraj's kingdom. This is the root of their bravery.

How their claim came to be? An ancestor from them created a flashy but useless fire spell that they kept inside the family for ceremonial purposes. Later after a descendant of this ancestor usurped the previous dynasty, he plotted how to avoid his family being usurped as well and he came up with the idea of literally creating a religion that worshiped the royal family.

He took inspiration from the way that the royal families have a status similar to a god to the emberhumans. There wasn't practically any demigod among the humans left, so he claimed to be a descendant of Siraj because there were nearly any followers of Siraj's faith at all in the northwest region at that time.

Using force, they gradually "converted" all their people to the royal family worship, just like pharaohs back on Earth, making themselves god's among people. With the principle that a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth, this family started as time-passed believing their own fairy tale. Marrying sons to daughters became a sort of tradition.

So became the journey in the Ubel Kingdom of Siraj. He decided that he would show the world what a real child of him is like and rub it in face of the charlatans. He went undercovered using a simple gray cloth and hiding his divine aura to not scare the mortals, but without hiding his jewelry, after my recommendation.

With all my son's lack of common sense, he started asking random women around to bear his child, being rejected every single time, sometimes getting a slap in the face, I have no idea how he wasn't imprisoned or got a good beating. He reacted to all these rejections with great piety, thinking that all the women that rejected him were blind or have some sort of mental problem.

This continued for a while until a slave woman, who worked at a bakery as an attendant, accepted his invitation. Her name was Nneka. She only requested freedom, which Siraj complied with by buying her from her previous master and abolishing her slave status.

The poor woman may have thought that it was a small price to pay for freedom, after all, although her owner at that time was good for her, he was already getting old, and she could not be sure if his descendants would be the same. The constant fear of passing through humiliation was a constant for slaves there.

Later when Nneka and Siraj were alone, she started to undress, and Siraj shouted:

"Why are you undressing? I only asked you to have my child."

"Master, what are you talking about weren't we supposed to do that thing? Was it not why you set me free to have a concubine?" Nneka said in a low voice.

"I am not your master, I am your god. And no. I think I was quite clear, I don't want you to undress I only want you to bear my child. You only need to look at my marvelous appearance for long enough, at least it was like that when I have my firstborn with a mirror."

"You had a child with a mirror?" she said, looking at my son like he was sort of insane.

"Yes, his name is Arche, I think I will present you both to each other later."

As time went by Nneka started to develop feelings for my awkward son, and he did as well. With great effort, she was gradually able to instill common sense within him. Years later in a hut in the interior, Nneka had a daughter with him.

As I at some time gave a dictionary to the gods with names that I remembered from my previous life with meanings, the girl's name was Lesedi, which was of southern African origin and in some definitions appears as meaning 'light' or 'woman of light'. The girl was born with a bronze wristlet with a blueish rock of divine energy that seems to grow with her as she became older.

My granddaughter wanted to explore the world since she was little, so I requested the War God Caddock to teach her how to fight. When she was prepared her parents allowed her to go out and explore. Siraj as a conscious father does not hold the idea of forcing his daughter to end the Ulbe kingdom dynasty.

Lesedi explored the world, made friends all around, and got wealthy.

A strange prince from the Ulbe kingdom ended up being cast out because he was not from pure blood and the royal family considered him a mud in their name. He, of royal blood, started to openly criticize the royal family and he was later hunted down because of it. The reckless boy was nearly killed and my granddaughter is the only reason he remained alive.

Later, she ended up being captived by his speech and swore a knight's vow to him. So the adventure of the exiled prince and his demigoddess knight. I tested him in his dreams to see if he was true to what he said and I was glad about the results.

As the prince gathered followers with Lesedi's help, they ended up becoming closer. Until both became lovers. After, years of preparation both started a successful rebellion putting an end to the current dynasty.

"Father, Nneka is at the end of her lifespan. I don't think I can live without her." Siraj told me crying.

"I will allow her to become a goddess. But she will start as a demigod how much she achieves depends on her effort."

"Thank you, father." he said bowing.

"But about your daughter, she and her descendants have a job to fulfill in the mortal word. I will allow her and her descendants to reunite with you both after death."

"Thank you so much."

"They are my descendants after all."

So I turned my daughter-in-law into a demigoddess without limiter just like Caddock and Edith were before their ascending to godhood.
