Shuhei Hisagi

I ran through Soul Society and I have a question. WHO DESIGNED THE PLACE BECAUSE ITS A FREAKING MAZE! Fine, if I can't find my way I'll just jump over the walls then. I jumped up onto the wall and looked around.

I saw the Senzaikyu in the distance. I gotta start making my way there. I have to be there by tomorrow or I'll be left behind while Ichigo trains bankai. I don't want to be left here for days being hunted by Soul society captains. I started making my way there.

I jumped from roof to roof keeping a decent speed. I would meet the occasional soul reaper group and I would beat them unconscious but other then that I had no interruptions. I was making decent pace and was not that far away from the Senzaikyu when I sensed someone strong. I immediately stopped but didn't bother to hide. I doubt I could hide from them if it's a captain or lieutenant.

Based off what I could sense I think it's a lieutenant though. I waited and the lieutenant of the 9th division approached, Shuhei Hisagi. I felt relieved. If it was a captain I would most likely be defeated.

"You look relieved." Hisagi said.

"Of course, if it was a captain I would be defeated no doubt but anything less then that I can deal with." I said. I analyzed his power.

Damn,I can't even match up to a lieutenant before their shikai state. However it makes me wonder how Ichigo will beat Renji. Maybe Renji's a lot weaker? That's not important right now because if I want to escape I'm going to have to give it all I got.

"I don't think you will surrender right?" Hisagi asked.

"Right back at you." I said with sweat dripping down my face.

Hisagi unsheathed his blade and jumped at me. I took my spear out of my inventory and fought back. We exchanged blows but I could quickly tell I was outmatched in both skill and experience. I backed off and attempted to shoot a few soul beams but Hisagi wouldn't let me do so.

He immediately rushed at me again and kept me at close combat. However I was losing fast and couldn't keep up. His attacks started to graze me. A cut here, a cut there, almost stabbed there.

I backed off once again and looked at my injuries. I was covered in cuts and wounds but they were all pretty shallow.

"You're not too bad but you're not strong enough." Hisagi said.

I cursed under by breath and tried to think of some sort of solution. If I tried to run I would get caught. If I did nothing I would get defeated by him. I have one option. Since he's not in shikai state so my option is to cause some sort of injury to slow him down. Once he's slowed down I can make my escape. Let's try a few skills.

'Lightning Spear!'

My spear crackled with lightning and I threw it at Hisagi. When the spear hit Hisagi an explosive boom echoed out. When the smoke cleared Hisagi was not harmed. The Spear reappeared in my hands.

"Let's try this one then!" I shouted

'Meteor thrust!'

I threw the spear once again at Hisagi and it managed to damage him this time but not by much. I guess I'm going to have to use my trump card.

A few days ago during my training I did some experimenting with soul fusing. I found the chance of a soul fusing properly with another was 30%. Also if the fusing fails you lose the souls. You see when I use Soul boost the boost depends on the soul I absorb. The boost is half of the power level the soul had when they were alive.

Why didn't I just take a super powerful person's soul and absorb that I may be asked. I can't because I can't find one. I have over 70 billion souls but it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. However souls I extract myself I'm able to set aside for further use so they won't be mixed up.

What I had done was I fused the Angel General, the Angel Guardian, The Demon Guardian, and a bunch of random souls. It was risky but It worked and the souls fused properly. I now held a soul that when I absorbed it would add 2,500 to my power level. I considered it my trump card for an emergency. I think this counts as an emergency. However I need to think this through because my power level will only go up to 7,756.

He will still be able to overpower me but I should be strong enough to injure him. As long as I can injure him I should be able to get away. Well here goes nothing and I absorbed the soul into myself.

*Beneath Soul Society*

Ichigo and Ganju were being lead by Hanataro to Senzaikyu. They were walking when Ichigo sensed a rising energy. He stopped and looked up at the ceiling. A small smile came across his face.

"I guess he's stronger then he looked." He said.

*Somewhere in Soul Society*

There was a teenager pacing in panic. Something that was not supposed to happen was happening. He was a soul reaper who was called a genius by others. He was stronger then all friends however that was because he had a secret. He was actually an isekai'ed person who wanted to make sure he became the strongest in this anime world.

He was panicked because something happened that should not of happened. He spotted Hisagi fighting someone else however that was not supposed to happen. It was not something that happened in the anime. Even worse Hisagi's opponent was not someone he knew. Meaning they too were an Isekai person or so he thought.

"If I want to be strongest then I must make sure all unknown factors are out of the equation. Luckily he doesn't seem to be up to the task of fighting a lieutenant." He said trying to calm himself.

The he felt a spike in energy and felt the unknown opponent's strength rising and he panicked once again.
