Gem Queen and Scorched Leader vs The Devourer

[Time to make a cliché for Jack]

The Gem Queen led Jack through the many caves as they soon came across a large opening, it was filled with even more vibrant and rare gems. But in the middle were two amazing items.

[The Gem Armor

Defense: Higher Human

Remark: Beautiful, but really flipping expensive to make]

[Gem King Pendant

Defense: Higher Human

Ability: When used, it can make a large gem dome to protect the user from harm

Remark: If given to by a Gem Queen, then that Queen has acknowledged you for being strong or for being their King. Also, really flipping expensive to make]

"Please, wear it," The Gem Queen told him.

"What!" Jack was startled.

"You're strong, strong enough to move out the Devourer, but you need armor," Gem Queen again told him, "I can only help you fight and give you these."

"Help me fight?" Jack asked, the Gem Queen's shape was quite bulky and wouldn't be much help.

However, the Gem Queen suddenly started to transform in a beam of rainbow light. She turned into a human beauty with fair and jade like skin. Her beauty could overturn cities and destroy even Aphrodite. Jack almost fell in lover with her, but he kept a calm head.

"Uhm... Queen? You aren't wearing anything..." Jack immediately turned around.

"Huh, weird," The Gem Queen was confused about his behavior.

"How about you wear the armor and tank the damage?" Jack offered.

"Are you sure-"

"Yep!"

The Gem Queen was touched about his offer, despite it only being to save his innocent eyes. The Gem Queen donned the Gem Armor and became even more beautiful somehow.

"Here," The Gem Queen handed him the pendant.

Jack nodded nervously as he grabbed it slowly and wore it. The Gem Queen smiled sweetly as she hugged him.

"If we survive this battle, then I will be your queen," Jack became flustered and blushed.

"Okay let's do this!" Jack recovered from his state and told her.

"Do this we shall," The Gem Queen nodded.

As the two walked they prepared for battle, the Gem Queen was nervous, but Jack seemed fearless. It was something he picked up on when you wanted to boost your ally's moral or intimidate your enemy.

The Gem Queen felt excited. Soon the two came to the Devourer's lair. The Devourer in question was a large worm like creature with only instincts to guide it. The Devourer was one-hundred-fifty-one the day two people challenged it.

The Gem Queen came in front as she dodged or deflected any damage towards Jack, Jack charged up fireball after fireball and flung them towards the worm. It burned it badly, it screeched and opened its hideous mouth to consume Gem Queen. She was frozen in terror. Jack roared as he pushed her out of the way and suffered grievous injuries.

"AGH!" Jack screamed as he felt extreme pain from the worm who bit off a tone of his flesh.

The Gem Queen was enraged as she rammed into the ten meter long worm forcing it to retreat. But she wasn't done yet, she brought out a sword made from gems and sliced at the creature which cut it in half. While the Devourer was worm like, it was no worm. The Devourer screeched and bled to death leaving only an egg behind.

The Gem Queen rushed up to the egg to finish it off, but a blast of solar energy fended her off. Nexus had arrived.

"Nexus?" Jack asked weakly.

"I'm here Mr. Crimson," Nexus rushed up to Jack after grabbing the egg.

Nexus placed the egg beside Jack who was bleeding out.

"Mr. Crimson, I advise you to keep quiet and prepare yourself," Nexus told him as the Gem Queen watched Nexus rip open the egg, grab the infant inside, placed it inside some sort of container. Then Nexus grabbed the egg's juices... and forced Jack to dink it all.

"Sorry Mr. Crimson."

Hours passed as Jack woke up with Nexus and Iris by his side. The Gem Queen was there too and hugged him.

"Ugh, what the hell happened?" Jack asked holding his head.

"I made you drink the potent healing urine inside the egg, it was also filled with incredible nutrition"

Jack was about to throw up as Nexus handed him some water, Jack drunk it like crazy.

"-fortunately you survived! Yay!" With a mechanical voice it sounded like sarcasm.

"Anyways, your wife here-" Nexus was stopped again.

"Wait what?" Iris was confused, she'd only gotten here a few minutes ago.

"Yes, Mrs. Gem and Mr. Crimson are currently husband and wife, or king and queen," Nexus explained.

"What about Vincent? What happened to him, is he still in danger?" Jack was the first to ask about Vincent.

"Yes, he is no longer in danger thanks to his incredible methods of survival (which includes murder in cold blood)," Nexus didn't say the () part.

"Thank god," Jack sighed in relief.

The Gem Queen was confused about this Vincent.

"Hey, what is your name anyways?" Iris asked the Gem Queen.

"I'm Silver Gem, but I prefer to go by my last name, like all my ancestors before me," Gem told them.

"Alright," Jack smiled.

"Good, with all that done we should head back, we have enough sunlight ore and we even got a infant devourer here," Nexus said.

"Gem, do you want to go with us?" Jack asked.

Gem seemed conflicted, she had a tribe to take care of.

"If you're worried about your tribe I think they'll do fine," Iris told her.

Gem nodded, "I will."

Thus, everyone set out.

Though the tribe did die a few days later because of another devourer, who was now out for blood against Jack and Gem.
