17. Misunderstandings!

Dhvani silently drove to her home, though silence was everywhere, just questions were present in her mind!

'I survived but.....lost my memories cause of a severe head injury!'

His words echoed in her ears! Forgot?! And just fate?? He said just fate???! Her grip over the steering tightened a little! She took a deep breath, calming herself and not wanting to get herself and her car bumping up into any other vehicle! She drove to her home, and when she made her way up to the stairs, to open the main door, she noticed Ajith standing there, with hands folded and he leaning against the wall, his one toe behind the other! And he then motioned his gaze towards her.

"What are you doing here??" she questioned.

"I probably can't wait inside cause the password is changed!!" he said with a raised brow giving her a look of, 'Come on! Don't you know!'

"Why are you here??" she repeated as if she didn't want to talk to him right now!

His hands now reached down as he pulled himself up, "What do you expect from me rather than a visit! You don't know what you did??" he now reached her, taking a step down.

She looked up at him, but then looked away closing her eyes for a second in frustration! "What are you.... talking about?!" she tried to sound calm!

He sighed rolling his eyes away and then looking back at her, "Dhvani!! I can understand you rejecting every proposal though it's still weird! But pausing the agreement you have with Universe...., what is that??!"

She sighed, "Not.Now...! Ajith! Not now!!"

He frowned, "Dhvani! I am serious! This ain't the one to ignore!!"

"That's my decision, and you know! It was clearly mentioned in the agreement that Little Star can pause the deal according to her wish and schedule!!" she said with a sigh as if she was tired!

"You know what's happening in Universe now-a-days Dhvani!! Your doing will only worsen it!! You are supporting another company leaving Universe?! Do you think this will make others happy?!"

She finally lost her calm, "I.Did.What.I.Wanted.To!!"

"Who are you to question me??"

He blinked, taking a step back, who....was he?!

He still managed to put some sense into her cause she seemed like she lost it or she was being bothered by something? "This will lead to an internal chaos Dhvani!" he said calmly. "What's.... bothering you?! We can share!" he then added gently.

We can share?! This just worsened her even more! Sharing....she chuckled inward! She gets nothing by it, not in past nor in present, and future was just uncertain!!

She stepped up, "Look Dhruv! Universe....is mine!!" she hit herself with her index finger, stating clearly that everything was hers! She then pointed the same finger towards him, and he followed the gaze, "You.... don't need to worry! And yeah, prepare a meeting tomorrow, I would be clearing all those chaos YOU...are stating, before even they could disturb you or anyone!"

"Now just....leave! Leave me alone!!" she said and without waiting for him, she crossed him and with her fingerprint, the door got opened and soon she left him behind alone, who still stood, still, silent, looking down!

Dhruv?! He didn't need to worry?

Disturb him? Just him??!

He took a deep breath, without any thought, he got into his car and just started driving to wherever he felt like to go, not knowing where!!

Dhvani just sat infront of the mirror, looking down her hands! Tears swirled in her eyes!

'We will definitely one day create our universe!!' she remembered herself saying it years ago! She no matter what happened, stood on it, but he...

How could he??! Tears fell down her cheeks! She shook her head at herself, why was she this saddened by the truth? It has been a long ago, even though he haven't lost his memories, he could have probably forget her, right? Why was she taking it seriously??!

She closed her eyes for a moment, may be it was all her fault! It was her bad, she let him in into her life, the first one who noticed her being alone, and wanted to be her friend! She chuckled, it might have been out of pity though he didn't said it to be back then!

The another reason she signed the contract with him was to let him grow and emerge in Universe so that....she could proceed with what she thought once to do after finding him! She smiled sadly, she perhaps didn't have anymore reason present to do it, when he can't even remember it, what's the gain?! Nothing!!

Her gaze fell on the necklace she wore, she soon took out the hook, holding it in her palm! She felt the anger raise within her, the urge to do something which may catch up with her anger and could calm her down! She turned the pendant backwards, seeing the letter 'A', she rolled her eyes, more tears streaming down, she raised her hand up in a moment of anger, frustration, and sadness, and was about to throw the necklace away, as far as she could, but her hand stopped in the midway, stuck and remained raised in the air!

'Universe!!' she recalled his words!

'My dream.....is to be the partner...permanent partner of Universe!'

Her hand slowly reached down, "How could he..... remember his dream....when he can't remember his memories?!"

"Was it... because it was his only dream? Or...his love for music once that made him choose the music all over again?"

She frowned, and became thoughtful, "If he... remembered that, why can't he remember the other things?"

Her grip over the necklace tightened, "May be he could remember if he tried?!" she said to herself in hope!

'lost my memories' his words that gave her more hope! He didn't....forget! He lost...them! It.... wasn't his fault right?!

She opened her palm, staring the necklace again, "I will help you remember everything Ajay!! Everything!!" drops of tears fell from her eyes! She wiping her tears away, wore the necklace again!

Dhruv kept on driving and haven't even realised where he stopped, until he lifted his gaze up and saw the cafe near! He chuckled, his subconscious mind was just aware of what he needed to think rational again! He parking the car, got out, nearing the cafe! As he entered, he instinctively searched for Alia, but he found her nowhere. He just shrugged and headed towards the chair near the window, getting seated, he allowed himself to observe the nature outside, letting the sun which was shining even brighter now, hitting him directly, as it was noon! He let himself surrender to nature, observing the busy streets and traffic and passer-by's, hoping them to sweep out the emptiness that was swirling inside him, making him feel a huge lump in his heart!
