The relentless barrage of falling rocks persisted for a few more intense seconds before finally subsiding. Isaac, with the aid of his smart glasses, meticulously analyzed the aftermath of his devastating attack on the arkdelios. The results displayed on his augmented reality interface revealed that more than half of the arkdelios were now buried beneath the massive pile of rubble, while the remaining ones were scattered in various directions.
Most of their health levels had taken significant hits, with some even experiencing a dramatic decrease, which made it considerably easier for Isaac to manage the situation. The chaos and destruction had also dealt a blow to their unity, temporarily shattering their cohesion and creating a window of opportunity for Isaac.
"Alright, now that the initial phase is complete…" Isaac spoke in a whisper. His gaze intensified as he spoke, locked onto the arkdelios that were still standing. "Time to move on to the next phase."
GRRRR…
Emerging from the rubble, one of the arkdelios managed to shake off the debris that clung to its body. But Isaac, who was quicker than lightning, deactivated his shoes and descended upon the creature with the grace of a soaring pegasus. In an instant, a fiery red spear materialized in his hand, engulfing it with a mesmerizing yet dangerous blaze of flame.
His eyes locked onto the arkdelia that was standing right below him, and in a dazzling display of prowess, he swooped down, the fiery spear finding its mark with deadly accuracy and piercing through the creature's head with lethal precision.
GRRRAAAR!
The arkdelia let out a thunderous roar of pain as the fiery spear pierced through its head, splattering brain juice all over the surroundings before its eyes lost their luster, and it collapsed to the ground lifeless.
As the chaos subsided, some of the arkdelios regained their composure, only to be startled once more by Issac's sudden appearance. Taking advantage of the chaos, Issac swiftly hurled the flaming spear at another arkdelia.
WHAM!
The flaming spear separated from Issac's hand and streaked through the air at astonishing speed, aided by Issac's manipulation of the surrounding air, and impaled the arkdelia's chest. The creature was flung backward by the force of the attack and crashed onto the ground with a resounding thud.
WHOOSH!
Before the creature even hit the ground, Isaac surged forward with unparalleled swiftness towards another arkdelia, which had just become aware of its comrade's fate. His movements were a blur, closing the distance between them in the blink of an eye.
BAM!
With a deadly precision, Isaac swung his elbow, the red hot flames enveloping it adding an intense ferocity to the blow, and the impact landed squarely on the arkdelia's face, forcing the creature to stumble back a step.
Swoosh!
Before the creature could even register the attack, Isaac swiftly shifted his weight and extended his hand towards the arkdelia's abdomen. His palm ignited with a burst of fiery energy, which unleashed a force so powerful that it created a small-scale explosion, and the fiery surge sent the arkdelia hurtling backwards, crashing into the dungeon walls with a resounding boom.
Issac then used the momentum of the explosion to bounce back towards another arkdelia, which had realized Issac's intentions and swung its claws at him. With a swift and fluid motion, Isaac instantly unleashed a torrent of flames towards the ground below, and the force of the fiery blast propelled him upwards, defying gravity as he flipped upside down, hovering in the air with remarkable agility as he evaded the arkdelia's deadly claws by a mere hair's breadth.
As the arkdelia staggered forward, unaware of Isaac's swift maneuver, he landed behind the creature. Before the creature could turn around, he swung his fist with incredible force, which had been enveloped in flames. The impact created a small-scale explosion as his fiery fist collided with the back of the arkdelia's head.
BOOM!
The explosion sent the arkdelia hurtling through the air like a ragdoll before crashing down on the ground with a loud noise, face-first, brain juice splattering across the ground like a grotesque painting.
Issac's adrenaline surged, his heart pounding in his chest as he zeroed in on the nearest arkdelia, who lunged at him with savage fury.
GRRRAAAR!
The creature swung its sharp claws at Issac, slicing through the air as it attempted to strike its target. In a display of near-perfect agility, Issac spun in the air and evaded the attack, the arkdelia's sharp claws narrowly missing their mark.
Issac retaliated immediately by summoning a flaming spear in his hands, its fiery glow illuminating the walls of the dungeon as he thrust it forward with deadly accuracy.
BAM!
The spear found its mark, piercing the arkdelia's midsection, and the creature let out a guttural cry of pain. Not wasting a moment, Issac yanked the spear upward, tearing a gaping wound in the creature's abdomen. The arkdelia fell to the ground, its life force slowly fading away.
"Who's next?" Issac's resounding voice reverberated throughout the dungeon, his intense gaze fixated on the two remaining arkdelios that had managed to free themselves from the rubble. A hint of hesitation was evident in their movements. Sensing their momentary confusion, Issac seized the opportunity and instantly darted towards the one on the left.
Issac unleashed a rapid flurry of punches, each blow of his enhanced by red hot flames enveloped around his fist. His strikes collided with the arkdelia's thick exoskeleton, causing sparks to fly.
GRRRAAAR!
The creature roared in anger, swinging its long tail menacingly towards Isaac, and he immediately responded to the attack by arching his upper body backwards, narrowly evading the heavy tail as it whooshed past his face.
WHAM!
Isaac wasted no time, responding with a powerful counterattack. He conjured multiple fireballs in the blink of an eye and shot it towards the arkdelia. After the fireballs collided with the creature's body, the arkdelia staggered backward, its balance disrupted by the fiery assault.
But before Isaac could deliver the finishing blow to the monster, the other arkdelia sprang into action, lunging at him with astonishing speed. But Issac was prepared. In a swift and fluid motion, he shifted his weight sideways, evading the attack with ease.
BAM!
Without wasting a single moment, Issac launched a blistering counterattack, his fist engulfed in swirling flames as it connected with the arkdelia's waist, rocking the creature sideways. But Isaac's onslaught didn't end there. He charged towards the arkdelia, appearing before it in a mere instant. In one fluid motion, he extended his hand and firmly grasped the creature's face before exerting force through his palm, causing it to ignite with an intense blaze.
BAM!
The torrent of flames burnt through the now weakened exoskeleton of the arkdelia, engulfing it in a blaze of destruction and burning it alive in a matter of seconds, after which its body turned lifeless. Isaac swiftly discarded the lifeless arkdelia to the side, never once losing focus on the one he had yet to defeat.
GRRRAAAR…
The remaining arkdelia let out a furious roar, as it stared at its fallen comrades. It lunged at Isaac with a renewed intensity, its sharp claws slashing through the air. Isaac's eyes narrowed, and he met the creature's attack head-on, deftly sidestepping its claws with a swift pivot of his body.
He seized the opportunity to strike, summoning a torrent of flames around his fist and delivering a powerful uppercut to the arkdelia's jaw. The force of the blow rocked the creature, causing it to stagger backward, but it remained resilient and quickly regained its footing, lunging at Isaac once more.
Isaac leaped back, relying on his air ability to manipulate air to increase his agility. He quickly conjured a swirling vortex of flames around his hand and hurled a fireball towards the arkdelia. The creature was somehow able to deflect the attack with its already bruised exoskeleton, but it gave Isaac the opening he needed.
WHOOSH!
Isaac charged forward with an incredible speed, his fiery energy intensifying as he leaped into the air. Flames enveloped his entire leg, forming a blazing cyclone of power as he unleashed a devastating spinning kick aimed at the arkdelia's face.
BAM!
The intense force that was behind the attack caught the arkdelia off guard, sending it tumbling backward and slamming onto the wall. Before it could even attempt to recover, Isaac was already in motion, his hands gracefully stretching downward as the flaming spear materialized in his palms.
WHOOSH!
As the arkdelia regained its footing, the flaming spear swiftly departed from Isaac's hand, slicing through the air with unparalleled speed. It found its mark with deadly accuracy, piercing through the weakened exoskeleton on the creature's forehead and exiting through the back of its head. The flaming spear impaled the arkdelia against the wall, leaving it no chance to recover as it let out its final roar.
Issac's heart pounded in his chest as he took a deep breath. His keen eyes swept across the rubble filled battlefield, ensuring no lurking arkdelios remained. With a mixture of exhaustion and triumph, he finally exhaled, saying, "Seems like that wraps up the second wave..."
