A Golden Age Begins

Julian sat Down atop the Drakes Skull and took a breather. He looked around at the shattered mountains and scorched lands and smiled. His power was so great that every battle from now on would be like this unless he could gain better control over his power. After drinking a celebratory wine bottle he hopped off and stored the fire drakes body in one of his Spatial rings. With the fire drake stored he made his way inside the Drakes lair. He walked down a steep cave for hundreds of feet until he came into a massive underground Cavern. Unlike his own cavern his night vision actually worked inside here. Looking around the cavern Julian cheered.

" fuck yeah, this is some nice loot. "

The Ground was littered with corpses and treasures such as gold and spirit stones as well as spiritual weapons, strange books, scrolls and soul stones as well as countless other items. Originally Julian was going to ignore the dead bodies of Cultivators and spritual beasts but he saw that some of the beasts still had their cores inside and most of if not all of the bodies had a spatial ring attached to their fingers. Out of all the treasures a sword sticking out in the distance caught his attention. He walked to it and pulled it from the heap of gold it was in.

The blade was a beautiful sleek grey sword with hundreds of strange runes etched upon the blade. The Hilt of the sword was black with numerous engravings as well. The two most noticeable engravings were two Golden eagle engravings on each side of the Hilt.

An Ancient sword crafted by the Great Blacksmiths of the Varok empire. This sword is made of a mix of Mithirl ingots, Admantium as well as kosk and royal Silver ingots. Blessed by a powerful cultivator this sword grants the user the skills ( perfect flight ) and ( Speed Burst ).

Julian read the description happily and laughed. He knew from marks memories that a low heaven grade sword was incredibly rare and very poweful. It was especially rare in the blue sun Territory as during the Great war many of the heaven grade swords were looted by other races.

He grabbed what looked to be the sheath and placed it on his hip along with the sword itself. After securing the sword he looked around at the vast mounds of treasure. He took out an empty spatial ring and used it to suck up all the gold and gems within the cave. Once they were picked up the only things that were left were corpses. weapons, books, spirit stones, soul stones and many other strange looking plants and treasures. He sucked up the spirit stones and souls stones before walking over to the other weapons and armor in the cave.

After about 2 hours of looking around he ended up with 3 heaven grade items, 28 earth grade items and 145 sacred grade items. This trove of weapons could easily cause a war if it was leaked out. A single heaven grade could spark a war. 3 could probally send the entire blue sun Territory into a War. He quickly placed the items into his spatial ring and proceeded to the dead bodies on the floor. As he was walking towards a skeleton wearing golden armor he noticed a weird piece of brown metal sticking out of the floor to his right. He crouched down and touched the strange metal.

[ Sigons Knuckles ] Medium Legendary grade

" What!!! "

Julian pulled out the Brass knuckles from the floor and held them in his hand.

" Legendary Brass knuckles? "

He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Out of all the weapons it had to be Brass knuckles. The knuckles were legendary but they looked identical to simple Brass knuckles you could buy in his original world. The Knuckles had small spikes and looked old and rusted. He put them on his right hand and received a notification.

[ Sigons Knuckles has activated ' Curse of Binding ]

" Damm! "

He knew what curse of binding was but he attempted to remove them anyways. He activated the Arm of Annihilation and sent all of his strength into it. He pulled hard but it didn't budge. He wasn't disappointed as it was within his expectations. Julian moved his right hand to his face and clenched his fist a couple of times before sighing. His left arm was already permanently metal and now he had more things permanently on his body.

He had mixed emotions at this time. He was exhilarated after finding a Legendary item but was mad it has curse of binding on it. Now he couldn't wear the Heaven grade Gauntlets and holding weapons would be uncomfortable.

Although it annoyed him he let it go for the time being and moved over to the bodies and other loot.

He crouched down over the Golden armored Skelton and sucked the entire thing into a spatial ring. He did the same for all the corpses and then walked over to the books and scrolls. there was 45 in total and 10 were just regular books but the rest were skill books and scrolls In total he got 2 Heaven grade martial skills, 18 earth grade and 15 sacred grade.

Once he had everything picked up he searched the cavern with his divine sense one last time before leaving. He teleported into his Mountain home and looked outside his balcony onto the city below. He rubbed his hands together and smiled as he made copies of the skills. Once he was done he sat down on his bed and searched through the various spatial rings he picked up from the corpses. Out of 9 spatial rings he got 20 sacred grade martial skills and 2 earth grade. He also got hundreds of mortal and profound grade martial skills but they weren't worth his attention. There was plenty of weapons as well but out of the mountain of weapons only 16 were sacred grade and 2 were earth grade. There was hundreds of Spiritual herbs and plants as well as a couple Earth grade cauldrons and even some high grade runes. Among the herbs was several dozen pill bottles and a couple elixirs.

He spent the rest of the day sorting the items. When he was done he made a trip to the skill vault and deposited 2 copies of every skill type. the first floor contained mortal skills while the second held profound skills. The third contained sacred skills and the fourth held earth grade skills. He was going to place the heaven grade skills on the fifth floor but felt that the security of the Vault was inadequate so he kept them on himself.

Once he Stocked the Vault he spoke with William and had him spread the news of the point system. Next he appeared above the peak of a Mountain in the center of the Isvani forbidden zone And raised his right hand into the air. He activated his blood palm and began to collect the blood from dead spiritual beasts in the area. During this past day the artillery and the Guardian were busy at work killing millions of beasts and undead. The amount of cores and other loot filled several spatial rings. Everything was great but he sighed when he looked at the exp bar. He only gained 9 trillion exp from all 5.6 million Spiritual beasts. If he was going to level up he would have to kill billions of spiritual beasts or a couple at the same rank as himself. The undead was mostly below rank 3 and there was none above rank 6 so the exp gain was around 69 trillion.

[ 991 trillion/3.9 quadrillion ]

" All the monsters in the Isvani Mountain range are dead but I didn't level up once! "

Julian stared at the exp bar and contemplated what he was going to do for more exp. He could just go and find a couple more rank 9 Spiritual beasts but that was easier said than done. For now he couldn't really do anything so he continued to collect the blood from the dead beasts.

Julian was confused for a moment and sent a telepathic message to Alex.

" Alex! "

Alex who had just killed a Spiritual beast was resting. When the sudden voice entered his mind he jumped up scared and yelled in a panic.

" Who's there! "

" Don't panic Alex, its me Emperor J. I need you to kill another spiritual beast, if you do this for me I will reward you handsomely. "

Alex was panicked until he heard the words 'Emperor J ' then he calmed down and nodded.

" I understand! "

Alex Swallowed a grade 1 recovery pill and began to move. About 5 minutes passed until he came across a rank 1 Spiritual beast. He pulled out his axe and launched a sneak attack. The axe pierced the Beasts Hide and went almost 9 inches deep. The beast roared in pain and attempted to flee but was chased by Alex. Another Strike hit the beast killing it. Alex had just reached the 9th stage of the foundation realm so a simple rank 1 was easy to slay.

" Its done my liege! "

Julian nodded at the notification and spoke to Alex.

" Good! very good, once you head back to the city find the new Martial Skill vault and take out any of the Earth grade Martial skills you want. Also head up to the item creator and grab a bottle of Grade 3 Qi pills and a bottle of Grade 4 gold core pills. "

Alex heard this and couldn't believe his ears. He quickly collected the corpses and made his way back to the city.

Julian was excited about his new discovery and quickly collected the rest of the blood. He teleported in front of Noah's door and knocked a couple of times. Noah ran to the door and smiled when he saw Julian waiting outside.

" Master! it's good to see you, please come in. "

Noah motioned for Julian to enter and the two sat down on a marble table across from each other.

" What brings you here today master? "

Noah spoke while wiping some crumbs off the table.

" I'm here to give you some precious items to aid you in your cultivation. You have a very special fire attributed Physique so I've acquired some fire attributed items for you as well as a fire manipulation skill. Lean your head forward real quick. "

Noah leaned forward and Julian moved his right index finger to his forehead. The moment he touched Noah's forehead he received a notification.

[ Would you like to teach Noah Skill ' Fire manipulation' for 10,000 Kill points? ]

' Yes '

The sudden flood of information flew into Noah's mind and he fell backwards into his chair. He raised his left hand and clutched the top left side of his head. Julian watched this and realized he probably should have given him some soul stones beforehand to strengthen his mind. He knew what Noah was going through and felt a little bad. He pulled out a High grade Natural soul stone and placed it on the table.

" Quickly absorb this. "

Noah moved his right hand and placed it atop the soul stone. As soon as his hand made contact he began to absorb the stone and the pain in his head began to fade away slowly. a minute passed by and Noah successfully absorbed the stone. Once he was done he sat on the floor and began to breakthrough. A high grade soul stone possessed 20x the Potency of a medium grade. This would be 8,000 Psychic force for Julian. This was enough to blast Noah straight to the Novice Psyker stage. a minute passed before he made it to the enhanced mind stage. after 5 minutes he hit Energetic mind and after 10 he hit Psychic Sensitive. At this time his soul began to undergo a monumental change. a tiny dot of black appeared in the center of his soul and began to spread outwards turning the rest of his soul black. As soon as it finished his psychic energy condensed and launched a beam of black energy into the sky.

" 100 feet, 200 feet, 300 feet, 320, 330, 340, 348. "

Julian watched as the beam flew all the way up to 348 feet high. A huge smile was plastered on his face, Thanks to mark he knew how amazing this was. Although he was happy Noah reached 348 he had a bitter expression behind his smile. If it wasn't for Emperor Callan's curse, maybe Noah would have reached 500 or even 600 feet high.

After Noah's black soul relaxed he broke through into the psychic controller stage then the novice Psyker stage and finally stopped.. Noah opened his eyes and felt refreshed. He could clearly move through his memories and his soul.

" Master, This is! "

He was so exhilarated by this new feeling that he didn't know what to say.

" Try to use the skill i gave you now. "

Noah looked at Julian with a thankful expression, once he looked away he began to try the skill. A small red flame appeared in his right palm and It slowly grew bigger until it was the size of an apple. Noah focused harder and the color of the flame turned blue. The flame lasted for a couple of seconds before it went out. Julian looked at the exhausted Noah sitting on the floor and helped him up to his seat. He grabbed a cup and walked over to the fridge in the kitchen. He filled the cup with ice then water and walked back to the table. Noah grabbed the cup and drank it quickly.

" Absorb this "

Julian placed a High quality soul stone on the table and sat back in his chair as he waited for Noah to absorb it. Noah took the spirit stone and quickly absorbed it.

The color returned to his pale face and he took a deep breath before speaking.

" Master this new skill is amazing! I feel as if I can move the fire however I wish. It feels like an extension of my own body! "

Julian smiled and spoke up as he pulled out a rank 4 Fire wyvern Heart from his spatial ring.

" This is a rank 4 Fire drake Heart. This item will increase the power of your flames as well as train your body and boost your Cultivation. Sadly you will have to eat this huge thing Raw. I would cook it for you but if I did that it would lose its effect. Noah looked at the massive heart sitting on the table and gulped hard. It looked disgusting and made him sick. He looked at Julian and then back at the heart before speaking.

" I understand! I thank Master for this amazing gift. "

He Steeled his nerves and pulled out a knife and a fork before digging into the large heart on the table. Julian saw that the blood began to move to the sides of the table so he stood up and placed his finger on the table. Nano particles flooded out of his finger and built little walls on the side of the table to stop it from falling. Next he created a bucket and made a hole in the wall for the blood to fall into the bucket. This blood was a treasure as well and he wasn't going to waste it.

10 minutes passed by and the bucket was almost filled up so Julian replaced it and put the full bucket to the side. He looked at Noah who was still eating. He felt bad for Noah who had to eat the heart raw when he himself could just devour it with his blood.

' If I transplant my bloodline into Noah will he be able to devour items like I do? '

This thought ate at Julian's mind as he watched Noah eat the heart. After a bit of debating with himself he decided that after Noah finished the heart he would take a little bit of blood from Noah and see what kind of bloodline he had. He figured that maybe Noah had a powerful bloodline because of his fire God Physique. Or Noah could have a common bloodline that isn't special at all. He also wondered if he gave his bloodline to him if it would negatively affect his Physique. He had plenty of knowledge about this subject from all the cultivation novels he had read in the past but this was a completely new world so he didn't know if any of those things applied here as well.

" Hmm "

Julian stopped thinking about it for the time being and continued to watch Noah eat the heart. Every bite that Noah ate was filled with power. His mouth and throat was on fire and his body was constantly growing stronger and stronger. Julian noticed the changes in his body and looked at the name bar above Noah's head. Noah started out at the peak of flesh refinement but now he was at the lower stages of the bone refinement realm. At this pace by the time he was finished he should make it to the Soul forming realm.
