40 Chapter 40

[Location: Salvatore Boarding School] [3rd POV]

It was a few days after the talent show, and Talia's little show. She had almost immediately been questioned by Alaric, and the rest of the teachers, but had promptly been ignored. She didn't reveal anything to them, besides the fact that she won't be doing it again, at least, not anytime soon.

She was planning on stopping the slug from touching Alaric, but decided otherwise. She wanted the mummy to appear still, so that Clarke will get drawn out, which would allow her to take care of one of her problems. She had realized that she was being far too passive, which made her come to the conclusion, that she needs to take care of Malivore soon. She wasn't sure about the Gods, but she was willing to take care of them too, if they came around.

She planned on having Malivore taken care of, after the dance that was taking place soon. After that, she decided that she would begin traveling to other worlds, with Hope. The world of TVD, was not giving her anything all that helpful, besides some knowledge on spells, and Hope herself. She wasn't sure about her next world, but was thinking of going to somewhere with magic she didn't know, one of which was Once Upon a Time. She was still deciding on it, though. She would also have to speak with Hope, before anything happens.

During the few days, the only other thing she did, she had officially finished Chemistry of Magic, and was now basically just living at the school, and dedicating her time to training her Fairy Powers, combining more spells, and experimenting with her kitsune abilities. Her illusions had continued to be improved, and she knew that once she got to level 100, they would get much larger.

Hope had also "Rewarded" Talia after the talent show, showing just how much she loved the girl. Which was basically just a 8 hour session of passionate sex.

Talia hadn't went back into the dungeon just yet, as she was planning on completing the dungeon after Clarke, and the Mummy, were taken care of. She also knew, that once she killed Clarke, Triad Industries would probably come to the school, they would be easy enough to take care of, except for their little Malivore bullets, that might be an annoyance.

Currently, Talia was walking alongside Hope. After Alaric had thrown away the urn into the river, they had managed to track down where it should have ended up, which was a small town called Maple Hollows, near a man made dam. Walking out into the front of the school, Talia looked at the car they were taking, and sighed.

It was better than what they were taking in canon, but it still was not the best choice in the world. If she could, she would have driven her own car, but she didn't exactly have anything inconspicuous in her small car collection.

Climbing into the van, next to Hope, the two sat next to eachother. With Talia being sat next to the window, behind the drivers seat, and Hope was on her right. Emma and Dorian were already sat behind them. "So this is what we're going to be in for the next six hours?" Hope asked, sitting down.

"It could be worse, it could have been a mini van" Dorian replied, causing Talia to nod along. "Lets just be glad it wasn't that" After saying this, Lizzie and Josie walked up, and got into the van. Lizzie was sitting next to Hope, with Josie next to Lizzie.

Soon, Kaleb got into the passenger seat, and Alaric in the drivers. "So, ready for the roadtrip?"

"""No""" Hope, Lizzie, and Talia all said at the same time, causing Alaric to sigh and start the car. "Did you pack snacks?" Kaleb was the one who asked this.

"I did" Talia said, lifting up a bag with an assortment of snacks inside, alongside water and gatorade. "It's not just a bunch of crackers, is it?" Lizzie said, really hoping they were better than that.

"Nah, it's got pringles, water, gatorade, doritos, beef jerky, pepperoni sticks, an entire pack of oreos, pretzels, and some other stuff" Talia said, opening the bag and allowing everyone to glance inside, while Alaric began to drive.

"Damn, you're hooking us up" Kaleb said, looking at the variety.

Talia just shrugged "Rather pay a hundred bucks for some snacks, then eat cheese sandwiches the entire trip" Kaleb snorted at this, while Hope smiled. "Ah, and the water and gatorade is cold too, I put a spell on them" Talia added towards the end.

"So...how has everyones day been?" Alaric asked, causing everyone to groan at the question.

"...This is going to be a long trip"

The roadtrip had been going for nearly 6 hours now, and was complete and utter...suffering. Josie had thrown up a total of three times. Lizzie had started an argument with Hope out of nowehere, which was mainly about the fire from literal years ago, that Josie started. Alaric had started singing 99 bottles of beer on the wall. While Talia was sitting, questioning her life decisions the entire trip. The only good part, was that she was able to mess around with a bit of magic, as she was not really hiding her magic anymore.

The others also got a good show out of it too, able to watch her bend and use an entirely new magic. Which caused some questions.

"Talia, is that a spell?" Emma asked, as she as well as the others glanced at her manipulating a ball of light into various forms, as well as splitting it into smaller and smaller particles, and then changing them as well.

"No. It's another magic system I'm developing. This ones entirely based on the manipulation of elements. Right now, I'm using light, but I've also been messing around and learning mind and air" Talia said nonchalantly. Hope didn't react, as she already knew about this, but the others had their jaws dropped.

"You developed another magic system?!" Lizzie asked in genuine shock. The fact that she had made two entire systems, was already incredible, but three? It just further cemented how much of a genius she was.

"Mmhmm. I plan on developing this one, and then start focusing on the normal magic every witch learns" Talia said, knowing that she needed to learn more TVD based magic, as it definitely had its uses. She was hoping to get the TVD witch class next, and get a subclass based around physical attributes, like Original or something of the sort.

"Is there spells for it?" Josie asked, having taken out her earpods. 

"No, it's all based off of my own control, imagination, and intent, as well as magical power" Talia replied, not caring to hide such things. It's not like any of them would ever be able to learn it. The most they'd be able to do, is mimic it to an extent.

Besides that, Talia had also been subjected to Josie's song she had written, that was surprisingly quite good.

"We there yet?" Lizzie asked, holding the side of her face, as she too was beginning to lose her mind.

The van screeched to a halt, before Alaric responded "Yes!"

"Holy shit that took forever" Talia sighed out, before she watched as Alaric, Emma, and Dorian got out of the van. Alaric and Emma soon returned, as Dorian decided on looking through the river, while the rest of them would investigate the town itself.

That's the end of the chapter. Next chapter is a lot longer (over 4k words) and will start what is basically the end of Talia's time in Legacies.

I have noticed a few complaints about the fact that Talia is so passive, which I have realized is a genuine problem. Which is why, she will start to really change things next chapter, killing off certain characters. Last chapter also will have some side effects, in the form of a lot of attention, and other characters beginning to show up. Like some of the Mystic Falls crew, and even the Mikaelsons.

Next world will be much less canon driven than this one, I'm not entirely sure on what world it will be though. I want her to go to Once Upon a Time, eventually, but I also want her to go to a unique world, like Shadowhunters. So, we'll see. I'm thinking of having her go to Shadowhunters first, then OUAT, then Harry Potter or Winx Saga, idk though.

She's going to max out her two classes within 5 chapters or so, and the next classes won't be decided by a poll, and will instead be decided by me for the primary class, and a random wheel for the subclass.

I also plan on uploading another vault chapter later today or tomorrow, which is going to start in Doctor Who, with the 13th Doctor as the love interest, as I recently binge watched season 11 again, and it made me realize how adorable that woman actually is.
