25 Chapter 25

[Location: The Moon] [3rd POV]

Looking at Hope's awe filled face, Talia couldn't help but grin slightly. "H-how?" Hearing this Talia replied "I told you didn't I? I can teleport just about anywhere. Now, come on!" Talia finished as she grabbed Hope's hand and dragged her along.

Jumping, Talia looked back at Hope with a grin on her face, motioning for the hesitating tribrid to follow. Steeling herself, Hope crouched, and then jumped after Talia. "Fun isn't it!" Talia said, as she hopped around. Hope continued to jump after her, as Hope began to enjoy the lack of gravity.

Setting up this part of the date, was a bit of a pain for Talia. As she had to be extra careful with her magic in order for Hope to be safe to even come here. She'd rather not kill her date on accident. She also had to make sure to set up an illusion so that no satellites would catch sight of them. After that she just had to do some simple stuff, the main one being the preparation of Hope's gift, which she had to be especially careful with.

"Follow me, slowpoke!" Hope huffed at the teasing, but smiled and followed her nonetheless. After hopping for a little while, they made it to the location Talia had set up. It was similar to a picnic, with a blanket and everything. Sitting next to one another, Hope began to speak.

"This-this is amazing, you know that right?" Talia grinned at this "I'm pretty amazing, I know" Hope rolled her eyes fondly at this.

"How did you even manage to pull this off? The sheer amount of magic to do something like this...I doubt there is a single witch in the world that can do this" Hope asked, as she looked at Talia. Talia noticing her gaze just answered simply.

"I used like two dozen different spells in tandem in order to make this place safe enough for you to come here. I also had to do a illusion spell to deal with rovers, satellites, and all that. And then I had to use a couple spells to keep the food and a couple of other things in proper condition" Talia replied. Hope's eyes widened slightly at the fact that Talia was using over a dozen spells, at the same time, just to keep this safe enough for her.

"You're doing that for me? You know you don't have to do that right? The date was more than enough how it was" Hope asked in surprise.

"Nonesense, I want our first date to be a bit special. And I'd rather not accidentally kill my date" Talia responded. Hope noted the "First date" and couldn't help but crack a smile and blush. It was pretty obvious that Talia fancied her, and it was even more obvious that Talia wanted to go on another date with her.

"Anyways, I've got something....special for you" Tallai said as her tone softened. Hope noticed this, before watching in intrigue as Talia slowly reached into her bag, and pulled out a wrapped present. Handing the present to Hope, Talia looked at her a smile as she motioned for her to open it.

Hope looked slightly confused at her expression, before slowly opening the present. It was a...frame? She was confused, before slowly turning it. Gasping, Hope looked at the item within the frame in shock "Th-this is"

"I know that you lost the only painting you and your dad made together, so I might have fixed it up. I wasn't really sure what to get you, so I thou-" Talia couldn't finish her sentence when Hope barralled into her chest, hugging her.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Hope chanted as she hugged Talia. Talia smiled softly "No problem, love"

Talia softly held Hope as she could feel the slight wetness on her chest. 'Looks like I picked a good gift' Talia thought as she held the crying girl tightly in her embrace. Talia held Hope for a little longer, before Hope slowly stopped crying, and left Talia's embrace. Hope looked up into Talia's eyes, before glancing at her lips with a slight blush.

Talia noticed the look, but didn't say anything. She was not going to ruin the date by kissing Hope too early. Hope soon realized what she was doing, causing her blush to deepen, before coughing awkwardly and getting up slowly. "Sorry about that"

"It's fine, Hope. I'd probably have reacted the exact same way" Talia said, as she looked at Hope warmly. Hope relaxed slightly at this, before looking down at the painting, and running her finger alongst the frame.

"It's beautiful you know. I can see where you got your painting talent from" Talia said, as she looked at the painting. Hope cracked a smile at this "My dad was way better than me"

"Hmm, I don't know about that. He had a lot of time to practice, I'm sure you'll surpass him" Talia said, fully believing it. She had seen some of Hope's paintings, and they were genuinely beautiful. She was sure that if Hope had the same amount of practice and experience as Klaus, her paintings would be even better than his.

Hope just glanced at Talia at this, before looking down at the painting. Breathing in deeply, Hope slowly turned to Talia. Noticing this, Tallia raised an eyebrow "Is something wrong?"

"No, no. Everythings...perfect" Hope replied with a smile, as she got close to Talia. Noticing the closeness, Talia looked down at the shorter girl, staring her in the eyes.

Hope glanced down to Talia's lips, before slowly she steeled herself and thought 'Screw it'. Slowly, the shorter girl leaned forward, and locked lips with Talia. The second their lips locked, Hope inwardly gasped as a new sensation snapped into plaee. Talia blinked as she felt it as well, before shrugging it off, and kissing Hope with fervor.

Hope wrapped her arms around Talia's neck, while Talia had hers around Hope's waist, the two passionately kissed, as the sun began to set behind them.

That's the end of this chapter. This chapter was also short, but that is just because it is covering the rest of the date. And Hope and Talia are a thing! Finally! I am not the biggest fan of waiting for romance, I usually prefer to just have it happen quick, so that I can write the stuff I actually care about.

Next chapter should be longer by a decent bit, and will cover what exactly the mating bond is between the two. This is also a bit of an OC aspect that I'm throwing into the TVD universe. Next chapter will also have a bit of dungeon exploration, and then will cover at least a bit/half of episode 5. It will also have a couple more moments between Hope and Talia.

I also am planning on making a vault chapter soon, that will be similar to the Jacob idea I had, but altered in a few ways to make it easier to write, and more fun for me.
