I Know It Sounds Crazy But That's The Truth.

She didn't protest and allowed him to take her inside. Alex met them at the threshold and helped him.

With a troubled look, she asked, "what happened to her? Why is she leaping? She was fine when she left for your place, Mr. Robbin Sport."

"..." Sophia opens her mouth and closes it without saying a thing. She didn't know how to react to her friend's questions, she was entirely abashed and humiliated, she wonders what must be going on in Robbin's mind right now.

She slightly pinched her friend and with a sign, she asked her to keep quiet and stop brainstorming him with questions, it's confounding.

But Alex didn't seem to get her message, she continued asking Robbin more questions. "Please, I need to know what happened to her and what made her be in this state." she queried.

Robbin was embarrassed too, he doesn't know what to say or how to tell her what had happened between the two of them some minutes ago.

He raises his hand and scratched his head in shame. He tried to say something but couldn't. 'I will have to tell her what had happened, that it was during their lovemaking that she temporarily got crippled due to his reckless attitude.' he thought.

He has to say something, else she won't stop asking these questions. Just when he was about to tell her the truth, Sophia stopped him from doing so and diverts their attention.

"Alex dear, please what do you have at home, I am extremely famished, need to eat something as soon as I can before it becomes worst," she said.

This momentarily distracted Alex and she left to go get her something to eat when they successfully got her inside the house and made her sit on the couch.

Right now, Sophia and Robbin are alone in the living room.

"What were you thinking? Do you want to tell her the truth? Please don't do that, let me be the one to do so. I know her better, and I know how I would inform her of what took place between us without her getting upset with you."

"If you don't want her to think that you took advantage of me." She said with a smirk.

"What? How could you say that? I didn't do such a thing. We did what we did because we want to. No one was forced to do so. Please don't try to get me in trouble." He pleaded with folded hands.

"I didn't say you took advantage of me, I only said that she would think you did so from the view of things. So please calm down before she hears you." She said.

Robbin slowly calmed down a bit when he clearly understood her intentions. As they were sitting calmly in the room, his phone rang, it was his secretary calling. "Sorry, It's a call from the office, it's urgent, else she wouldn't have called. Explain to your friend the reason why I had to leave abruptly."

Robbin said and took the car keys he dropped on the table.

"Alright, you can go, I will convey the message to her and please do take care." She bid him farewell with a kiss and he left.

He was right. There was a new problem in the office. He has given his secretary a serious warning not to call him except for something that only needs his attention. And if not the case let his assistant manage the situation in his absence.

So, she wouldn't have called him, if it wasn't relevant. One of his clients that has refused to allow the postponement of their meeting to take place has been creating havoc in the office.

He demands to see him immediately, else he will terminate their business deal.

In a jiffy, he has reached the office building and he went directly to his office to resolve the situation.

Back at Alex's apartment.

Alex came back with a bowl of porridge yam for her best friend with fresh pineapple juice. She kept it at the dining and called her to come to the dining and have the meal.

The food aroma made her stomach growl so loudly. The appearance was enticing, that no one could resist.

Sophia ate heartily, the meal was very scrumptious that she finished the whole bowl and asked for more.

After her meal, she called her friend, sat her down, and narrated the whole event to her.

"What? Did you jump into his bed? A man you barely know, Sophia? What were you thinking or rather, what are you? A prostitute? Why would you do that with him." Was her first reaction, she was finding it difficult to assimilate what she had just heard. What in the world was her friend thinking when she offered herself to Robbin.

"Shush... calm down. First, I'm not a prostitute, watch your tongue girlfriend," she said pointing a finger at her.

"I am in love with Robbin. I know it sounds crazy but that's the truth. I love him and I don't regret doing what I did with him. If anyone deserves my virginity then it's him and no one else."

"So, it would be in everyone's best interest if you start being nice to him and stop asking questions here and there," she said, making her realize how abashed they were out there when she flocked them with questions.

She could feel Robbin's uneasiness and discomfort with her unending questions.

"Babe, I don't want to be the bad girl in your relationship with him but if I have to be one to protect you from harm then I am fine with whatever you call me."

"Just know that I won't sit quiet and watch someone take advantage of your innocent. How are you even sure he feels the same way too? I know you can't prove that." she firmly said and stood up to leave her friend who thought she doesn't want anything good for her to herself but Sophia's words stopped her.

"But he loves me too Alex. He has professed his love for me and his feelings are genuine, I could feel it."
