An Unwelcomed Invitation

New earth a place where the poor lived in the bottom layer of the earth, and the rich who lived on the top edges of the earth. It's a world of unfairness, where mid bottoms worked for the interest of the edgers so they can live in wealth. Year 2099 N.E [new earth] in the mid- bottom part of the earth .MY name is Lucifer Ellon a nine year old boy living with my parents. My dad Jaggear Ellon a harsh merciless abusive person with a cold organ that I wouldn't even call a heart and my mom Daniella Davoma a delightful loving person.

I was always my Dad's little playdoll, any mistake would cause me breaking a limb, he'd make me starve until he feels that I learned my lesson so I do not make the same mistake again, he's my father after all I couldn't do anything about it. Yes I cried and I sank in tears, but l'm ok with it because my mom was always there to stand up for me against my father. She makes me feel overflowed with tenderness, she'd always say to smile, protect and live.

Days normally passed then suddenly and as I was asleep a crackling noise wakes me up at three am in the after middle of the grown moon. I thought that it was one of the nightmares I get drowned in from every night, but I was so confused all I was hearing was screams, dying groans and explosive head shaking earthquakes. So I got out of my shabby bed and quickly went to check up on my mom.

I saw a shivering body standing in the near corner of her bed , her lips were moving as if they were spelling a death wish, she looked me in the eyes and smiled saying:"smile, protect, live my son. That day a flaming heart stealing tree crushed her shattering my hope in lifer with her unforgivable death infront of my two own eyes.

That day a smile was crafted on my face refusing to leave my face whenever I see an unpleasant scene dancing through my mind and around my eyes, it became a part of my personality .A day where edgers killed half of our people and replaced us with machines, robotics and a place to build their labs so they can continue evolving over the back of our backs.
