'Noooo!! Please, someone…!!' Nami cried looking at what was happening and that day Bellemere died….Or she was supposed to because.

BOOOOOOOOOOOM*

…..Something fell from the sky.

"Waaaaaaa!!" Nami cried as she was knocked off her feet. 

And not just her alone everyone was on the ground because that impact shook the entire island breaking houses in the process while some deep cracks formed in the land around Cocoyashi village.

But in that moment when everyone had fallen unable to look around, Nami saw someone stand up from the place where the impact happened.

'Who is he?' Nami thought looking at the snow-white hair on this tough-looking man, but even if he looked scary, he was also calmly looking around meeting her eyes which caused her to freeze in place.

But that calmness was just on the outside.

'That was bad if I didn't control myself forcefully in the end, this place and everyone here would've been done for,' On the inside, he was not that calm because of what could've happened here if he was even a little late. 

This nearly turned into a disaster because many of his abilities were sealed as he entered this world, Paired with him being lost in thought along with the lack of his fear of heights, he was already near the ground before he came back to his senses and understood what was below him, that is why he used force to hang himself by grabbing the space with his bare hands to break the fall.

That was how he was able to stop himself and only lightly touched the ground, but even that didn't end well because…

'Your sacrifice will be remembered,' Adam looked at the blue creature that he had crushed in the process; the guy was clearly dead and…

"Do you guys know him?" Adam looked at the creatures that had similar physiology as the shark guy who was flattened and asked them a question.

'They look horrified, I mean it is normal since their friend just died in such a way,' Adam thought looking at their faces but what they did next was even weirder for him.

"R-Run!!!" Those guys ran away, yep they didn't even look back or touch the loot they had gathered in the village square, they just upped and ran as fast as they could, even leaving the ship behind.

The reason they ran was…

'He'll kill us!! We need to run!!!!' All of them were so scared that their legs moved on their own, it was like an instinct to run away from the predator.

'He was scary!! The way he asked us was like he'd kill us next…..!!!!' And because of that the way Adam asked them the question also changed.

'So, do you know him?' Adam's face appeared as cold as ice and his words sounded like they were a threat; no it was basically a promise to kill them on the spot as the question just seemed like a courtesy for some reason.

'We'll never come anywhere near this place ever again!!!!'

'Why did they run away? No, I guess that doesn't matter now,' Adam looked at Arlong who was dead, and shook his head, it was no wonder they ran.

It was weirder that it was only them that ran because he noticed many stares that were directed at him from the people who were around.

'Did they know him as well?' Adam looked at the villagers who looked injured but there was no need to worry since they still hadn't come back to their senses yet, not to mention the state of the woman closest to him, She was about to speak but...

"Yeah, peace," Adam said as he vanished, Simple he ran away as fast as he could.

'I am so getting called a terrorist around here,' That was his last thought when he rushed away quickly leaving dust and a cracked ground in his wake.

"How did he….?" Belle-mere muttered looking at the now empty place, she had caught a glimpse of Adam and the way he ran away.

'That face, it is definitely…' Belle-mere's thoughts were cut short as Nojiko and Nami came running towards her.

"Belle-mere, you need to get treated, Doc Come quick!!" The two were still worried because of the severe injuries she had sustained.

"Yeah doc stop daydreaming! We need to treat everyone," Genzo said standing up even if he was one of the most injured there because of how fiercely he resisted when Arlong was about to shoot Belle-mere.

'I guess it is fine, I am no longer a Marine now and he did save us all here,' Belle-mere smiled hugging her children, There was no need to dwell on that part for now because there were more important things to do.

And because of this rush, pretty much everyone had forgotten about Adam along with what he had done for a brief moment, everyone aside from another person who had seen his face clearly.

'I feel like I have… seen him somewhere before?' Nami thought as she couldn't shake this weird feeling in her heart, but it didn't matter at the moment since there was too much to think about.

But she will definitely think of it later as this news brought a significant amount of change in her life in just a few months after this….

Leaving that aside what was the person who caused this change unknowingly doing currently?

'Where is this place?' Adam surveyed the surroundings; he ended up in this place because of his hasty escape so he didn't know where he ended up since it wasn't his intention to come here.

'This place looks quite…. Dead?' That was Adam's assessment of this place but just then….

"~~~" Adam heard someone's humming and…

'This voice…' Adam went towards the source of this soft voice and he reached a pier, there he saw the person responsible for this.

'It was like she was trying to take my soul somewhere,' But even with that Adam was unfazed since he was able to resist it without hurting the one who had done it unconsciously because…

"You have a really nice voice," Adam spoke with a smile since even without words, the melody that came out of this little girl's mouth was very soothing.

"W-What?!" The girl with red and white hair was startled by the sudden voice that came from behind as her eyes opened wide in an instant.

'W-Who is it?' The girl had heard an unknown voice, since aside from her and another person there shouldn't be anyone else on this island.

"Calm down, I am not a bad person," Adam said trying to smile as friendlily as possible but…

"Are you a pirate?" The girl's eyes flashed with anger as she looked at Adam and it left him thinking.

'Do I look like a pirate even when I tried to smile nicely?' Adam didn't know whether to laugh or cry about this but the kid in front of him didn't seem to care for his troubles.

"I will defeat you!!!!" She shouted and ran towards him while clenching her fists tightly.

'Is she for real?' Adam nearly laughed out loud because…

"Oryaaaa!" The girl was swinging her arms in a circle frantically while running towards him as fast as she could.

But he didn't laugh because the girl's eyes were full of anger showing her seriousness.

'It would be bad to laugh, but it would be better to stop her before she gets hurt,' Adam shook his head after he saw how focused the girl was on him.

And because of her hasty move with the lack of focus on her footing along with the unmaintained pier, the girl tripped because of the small rubble and was about to fall into the sea.

'Oh no!' The girl exclaimed as the area around the pier was deep because it was used by big ships, and if she fell into the ocean then…

'Gordon is also nowhere close, and by the time he comes, I'll drown!' Her eyes closed shut as she saw the seawater below, it was no surprise that she was still scared but the splash that she was awaiting didn't come because.

"Even if you have your eyes on the enemy it is better to know your surroundings you know? I would do you no good if you trip on your own," Adam who was holding her up by her clothes spoke with a smile.

"Y-You stinking Pirate!!! Release me now!!" The girl shouted and…

"Ho! Are you sure?" Adam smirked pointing below the girl making her look down.

"T-Take me away from the sea and then release me you pirate!!"
