Bonus Chapter: A Concundrum

'Yeah, I shouldn't think too much,' Adam opened his eyes after a good minute of thinking.

"Here give this card to Rias for me, tell her to use it when she needs to contact me," Adam said as he handed Akeno the shop card.

'A blank card?' Akeno thought while looking at the card, it had nothing on it but she didn't bother with it and looked at Adam.

'Maybe, I won't have a chance to get into a relationship, let alone a harem,' Adam thought of what would happen if things continue as they are, there was no doubt that he'd meet more women and he'd have more sex.

But that may be the limit of what he could have with them.

"Alright then I'll be going, take care of Rias and yourself Akeno," Adam said and…

"Wait! Adam!" Akeno shouted but Adam was already gone by that point.

She quickly used Communication magic and contacted Rias.

[What is it Akeno? If it is about Adam I don't want to meet hi-]

"Rias, Adam-san just left, he didn't say where he went," Akeno cut off Rias quickly by telling her what happened and…

[What?! Where are you? Tell me!] Akeno could hear the panic in Rias's voice and she told her the location.

Rias arrived at the mansion where they training in less than a minute.

"Where is he?" Rias looked around everywhere as soon as she arrived, she looked almost frantic at this point that...

"Rias calm down," Akeno grabbed Rias and made her sit down on the couch.

'She didn't even wear her clothes properly,' Akeno sighed looking at the half-buttoned shirt of Rias along with her lopsided skirt.

She clearly came here in a hurry and…

"How do you expect me to be calm?" Rias asked almost in anger.

"You've been rejecting to meet him for the past few days, did you really think he wouldn't go?" Akeno said and Rias gritted her teeth.

It wasn't that she didn't want to meet Adam, it is just that she was angry and wanted to calm down before doing so, the situation was a bit too much for her to understand at the time, so she decided to shut herself in her room till her anger goes away.

It didn't really help though….

"You know why it came to that," Rias said while looking at the floor.

She was really happy that now she had control over who she could marry.

'I was going to….' Rias gritted her teeth and…

"If you were going to propose to Adam-san you should've told me about it, I would have postponed my approach then," Akeno could see through Rias very clearly.

"W-what? Who was about to Propose?" Rias said that but…

'As usual, your face says a different story,' Akeno could only smirk looking at how red Rias's face was.

It was clear that Rias had planned on taking her relationship with Adam to the next level right after the rating game was over. It was too bad that Akeno didn't know about it…

"A-And what do you mean you were about to postpone your plans? You would still approach Adam even if he was in a relationship with me, H-Hypothetically speaking of course," Rias crossed her arms and looked away.

"Yes," Akeno nodded even though the urge to tease Rias was overwhelming, she didn't do that.

"Akeno you know that pranks are going overboard," Rias wasn't happy to hear that but there was one thing she failed to consider here, and that was….

"I am not joking, I like Adam, and I pla- No I will marry him," Akeno was in no mood for pranks here.

'She's serious,' Rias could see the rare look of determination on Akeno's face; she had been with Akeno since they were young so she understands her properly, but…

'What about me then?' Rias herself had the same thought, the only reason she spent so much effort to get the right of choosing her own husband was for this.

She wanted to be in a serious relationship with Adam, Rias already made plans to advance things slowly but her end goal was indeed Marriage, even then she was too shy to say it unlike Akeno who got straight to the point.

"Rias, I know you feel the same as well, that is why I don't mind it," Akeno said, Rias looked up in shock, but the reason for her shock was something else.

"What do you mean you don't mind it?" Rias's lips twitched, she was the first one who met Adam and she was the first one who had sex with him, so why does Akeno feel like…

'That she'll be the first wife?' Rias's lips twitched more as she thought about it, if anything she should be the first wife.

"Ufufu~ Rias from the way you were progressing I think I might even give birth to a few of his kids by the time you marry Adam," Akeno giggled looking at the shocked look on Rias's face.

"A-Akeno, What are you talking about?" Rias stuttered, having a few kids? How could she just say that so lightly?

"Ufufu~ Rias you are just so innocent sometimes," Akeno gave her signature laugh and…

"O-Oh, so you were joking?" Rias sounded relieved but she failed to notice the smile on Akeno's lips, she was fully serious about this.

"S-So, how do we find him now? He just ran off being all irresponsible," Rias said looking mad but Akeno could see the worry hidden underneath that.

"Adam-san didn't say anything about where he was going, but he left this card with me and wanted it to be passed on to you," Akeno gave Rias the blank card.

Well, it was only blank to her but…

'The Wish Shop!! He must've gone back there because something must've happened,' In reality, Rias had forgotten all about the Wish shop, so much has happened that she actually forgot what Adam's main job was.

'If it's that type of job then….' Rias could already think about how many women Adam must meet while doing these contracts and then she suddenly thought of something…

"Akeno, what did you make a contract for?" Rias asked Akeno who looked confused.

"Contract?"

"You had …Sex with Adam right? So what was your wish?" Rias thought that Adam might've been doing it with Akeno cause of his job, this thought had just come to her mind because of the card.

"I don't think we had any talk of that sort," Akeno tilted her head but she was observing Rias's facial expression and some of Adam's words along with her current words intertwined.

'She made a contract with me and paid a hefty price, so let's get along,' That is what Adam said when he introduced himself.

And Rias just mentioned the words sex and Contract now, so by connecting them, Akeno was able to arrive at a conclusion.

"Rias, did you have sex with Adam as compensation for helping you with the annulment of your Marriage?" Rias flinched a little but she nodded, it was indeed that way, and because of that…

'I don't want my relationship with Adam to be marked like that,' This was the main reason Rias wasn't thinking about the wish shop and the contract, because if she did her and Adam's relationship would seem like it was superficial, like a relationship based on benefits rather than actual feelings.

And even if it was that way…

'I don't want it to stay that way, I like him, No, I love him,' Rias had fallen head over heels for Adam in a short amount of time, which is why she wanted to forget her initial thoughts of using Adam to get out of the engagement.

The more she explained what happened between Adam and herself to Akeno, the worse Rias's mood became as negative thoughts started to pile up in her head.

But….

"It is alright Rias, it doesn't matter how you started, You like him now and that is all that matters," Akeno said as she could see Rias's mood plunging straight down, if left like this Rias might get depressed.

'And I also had some ulterior motives at first, but they don't matter now,' Akeno smiled slightly as she saw Rias look like she regained her composure.

'Yes, it is not that everything is finished, I can still meet him and do better from now on, I also need to punish him a little for not coming to meet me directly,' Rias thought but then Akeno threw another question to her.

"Rias how many times did you have sex with Adam aside from the contract?" Rias was taken aback by the sudden question and…

"…W-We haven't," Rias answered with a blush, she of course wanted to do more but she thought of clearing the ongoing mess and then have her time with Adam, she had no idea it would turn out this way.
