'6… No 5 times,' Esdeath was currently 5 times stronger than when she walked in this door, it was a growth she hadn't thought she could achieve in such a short time, if she was on her own.

But she believed in herself to reach this level, just like how she believed that….

'I'll make you go all out,' She smiled looking at Adam, 'Next time for sure….'

"What happened? Do you feel at ease?" He asked with a small smile, since till now Esdeath had only shown a prideful attitude, but all of a sudden he saw a new side of her.

'She has a cute side as well? Unfair….' The smile she had on her face at the moment, was the polar opposite of the one she had before.

"Hmm, the way this healing works is very comfortable," Esdeath nodded as she indeed felt that way, as for the reason, "it is almost like someone is massaging my body with their hands…" she made sure to say those words while looking at his hands in particular.

"I am not touching you though," Adam said and Esdeath laughed.

"And that's a shame," She just enjoyed herself with that light teasing, and just the small reaction on his face was enough for now.

Because now, it was time to talk about the serious matter.

"I can still make a contract right?" Esdeath asked and Adam nodded.

"Yes, the fight had nothing to do with the contract, but do respect the rules," Adam was glad that there were actual rules made, otherwise he'd need to enforce them himself.

'it would be a serious loophole if they just make me their slave,' Adam shook his head as it was good that there was nothing like that.

"Fufu, don't worry about that," Esdeath giggled as she sat up, she had already understood how this shop worked.

This is why, she knew that there were several other ways to get what she wanted.

"What I want is a way to enter this shop at my own discretion," Esdeath smirked while looking at Adam's reaction, but it was different from what she expected.

"…Well, that is something you get when you make the first contract anyway,"

"So, is that a No?" She asked and Adam shook his head.

There was no way to deny this, if that is what she wanted then that is what she'll get, it wasn't really a big deal at all.

"I suppose I can ask for a special pass, one that leads me directly to you?" Esdeath thought of another fantastic idea, but…

"Yeah, no that's not allowed," Adam didn't want to deal with the administrators of the other worlds.

It was a big No-No for a being to get out of their own universe, much less visit another one. It will create problems so it wouldn't end well if this happened with Esdeath, he could understand that much without even needing someone to tell him.

"That's a bummer, so give me a special access to this shop, I would like to visit in my free time," Esdeath surprisingly compromised instantly.

'This wouldn't be a problem if I could defeat him,' Esdeath could only feel disappointed as she was unable to do that currently.

Now the question could come, why not make a contract to increase her powers?

'No,' Esdeath would never do that, 'I would rather die than take the cowardly way out.' She wanted to win over Adam with her own power, so that there was no room for any complaints.

"That's not a problem," Adam on the other hand was oblivious to her thoughts, he was just happy that he didn't need to speak a lot to convince her.

So, he handed her the card swiftly.

"Adam… hmm, your name has a pleasant ring to it," Esdeath smiled looking at the card, even tracing his name with her finger to learn how to write it.

'Why is she acting like this is the first time she heard my name?' Adam deadpanned, but decided to not think about it.

And honestly, he wouldn't even have the time to think about that because she was ready for the next big thing.

"So, what about the price of the contract?" Esdeath asked the next question, no in a way she had been waiting to ask this for a while.

"We don't need to make a contract for this," Adam was being truthful, this was just a card that he could give to anyone who visited his shop even once.

Even if they didn't make a contract, he could give them the card so that they can consider it in the future.

'It is kind of shitty now that I think about it…' It was almost like he was telling them to come back when they were ready to pay with 'sex'.

Honestly, it was absurd, but he couldn't help it since that is what he did now, 'So, no use thinking about it.'

"Hmm? So, I am getting this for free?" Esdeath asked and Adam nodded even if that wasn't entirely true. But because of her personality, he could see why she would think that way.

"That doesn't feel right," Esdeath said while shaking her head, she could understand how this card worked.

'It is like when you go to a shop, and they give you the means to contact them so you can enjoy their services again,' Esdeath was spot on, but she hadn't used this shop yet, and honestly she couldn't think of anything else she needed aside from Adam.

So, it felt weird, or not really, in actuality, Esdeath didn't care for anything. What she wanted now was very clear.

"I give you something as compensation," She smirked looking at Adam, what she would do next was fixed no matter what he said.

"I said there is no ne-Ump!" And Esdeath didn't let him speak either, in an instant she had pressed her lips on his as if to shut him down.

'Hmm… Yes,' Esdeath moved her tongue slightly to taste Adam's lips a little more, 'That sweetness.... I like it…' and the way it made her feel butterflies in her chest was something else.

It was something she had never felt before…

"What do you think?" She stepped back after a few seconds, "My first kiss should be good enough compensation for the card, right?" Esdeath smiled looking at the lost look on his face.

"….Yes, anyway let's leave it be," Adam sighed looking at the blush on Esdeath's face.

'I could've avoided it…' Adam knew what Esdeath was going for, so he could've dodged but there was no point, 'She seems interested.' Her actions may be a little too forward, but at least she didn't waste time in showing what she wants.

"Then I'll come and see you again," Esdeath said while looking at him with an affectionate gaze.

It was the kind of look one gives to their loved one when they are moving away for a few months. 

"Alright," Adam nodded with a smile, there was no way he couldn't catch something that obvious at this moment. 

'That is why I don't need to waste her time I suppose,' He would be an idiot if he thought over things now, 'I learned my lesson and all that…' he knew that now was time to change.

"Are you looking forward to what I'll give you next time?" Esdeath asked teasingly when she saw him so deep in thought once again.

"Oh, no I wasn't thinking about that," Adam was thinking about a completely different thing.

'Wait, was it really different?' He wondered but Esdeath shook her head, she didn't even need to ask to see that he was indeed thinking about her.

That is why she decided to make sure that he got something good as a reward.

"It will definitely be something better than my first kiss," To Adam, Esdeath had changed a lot in a short amount of time, but that didn't really matter at the moment.

"I'll look forward to it then," Adam laughed as Esdeath smiled exiting the room.

The snow was already missing before she knew it, and she honestly didn't even notice it.

Her mind was preoccupied at the moment anyway…

"Then I'll be going," Esdeath said walking towards the door, as Adam walked alongside her to see her off.

'I do not want to go but…' But for the next minute, she just kept holding the door handle while looking at him.

"…What?" Adam tilted his head, this seemed a little confusing.

"Nothing…" Esdeath shook her head with a smile and exited the shop.

And as soon as she arrived back at the fortress of the northern tribe, the frozen time started to flow once again.
