She opened her eyes again in the black space and saw Hu Lianhua directly opposite her.

Quite nervously, she greeted her and introduced herself.

Hu Lianhua put her chin up and crossed her arms domineeringly: "Why haven't you completed the mission yet? You are useless! You MUST go back and get the Hu family to recognise me. Otherwise, l won't give you a dime and l will lodge a report with the manager of your subspace."

Bai Lianhua was very speechless because she'd actually been trying very hard for Hu Lianhua. Since she was a client, Bai Lianhua knew she couldn't be rude. "But you now know that it was your father who did the wrong things in the first place. If he hadn't framed Mei Feng and Yue Lian, nothing would have happened. "I don't know but all l know is that for the Hu family, your plans won't work." She cruelly crushed any of Hu Lianhua's plans because she just didn't want her to keep longing for people who wouldn't treat her well. She even tried coaxing her to go and reincarnate and forget about these people but her good intentions were refused.

The system saw that nothing was happening and that both girls were in a deadlock. No one wanted to budge on their position. Suddenly, it thought of something: "When you said the approval of the Hu family, you never specified that it had to be the entire family. This means my host could just attack one family member and she would succeed in her mission, right? What you're aiming for is familial love, right?"

Hu Lianhua nodded slowly.

Bai Lianhua didn't really want to do this but she could only pick Hu Pingheng - he is actually a legitimate member of the Hu family and he seemed to like her. She didn't want to seduce him but use his good feelings for her to give Hu Lianhua some 'familial love'.

When she finally woke up the next morning, she pursed her lips and gave Hu Lianhua a middle finger in her heart. She also made up her mind to quickly leave after she finished her task - what was the point of dragging it when Hu Lianhua was watching her every move. Bai Lianhua scolded her stupid self for being so gullible and believing the memories Hu Lianhua left her and resolved never to rely on them so whole heartedly.

She sat down for breakfast, her stomach growled and she immediately stuffed herself with pastries and cakes.

"Slow down girl! No one is going to steal your breakfast."

Bai Lianhua looked up and saw Dad Hu reading a newspaper with an eye-catching title. [Yue Linlan Arrested for Her Crimes!!] She chocked on cake and Mom Hu hurriedly gave her a cup of tea.

Even though she knew that Dad Hu didn't particularly like talking during a meal, she calmly asked about her sister and whether she was actually arrested. Dad Hu nodded and then she rushed to check news about the Yue family online. After reading a few articles, it turns out that instead of the Yue family, the Wu family was the first to become bankrupt. Many people were shocked because the Wu Group was a behemoth. Her heart felt lighter and lighter now that her efforts were paying off.

"The next thing is to check Mei Qinghua again - where does she get her money from? Who is helping her from behind? All these hidden dangers need to be solved before l leave otherwise l haven't done a good job." Bai Lianhua was determined to impress Hu Lianhua even if she didn't like her.

Later, as she was preparing to go for a run, she opened the door to find Hu Pingheng standing outside.

"How long have you been there?"

Hu Pingheng smiled and refused to answer. Instead, he asked whether he could come in. Bai Lianhua opened the door and led him through their villa to the sitting room. Mom Hu was in the kitchen cutting fruits to make juice and Dad Hu was in the study dealing with some business. Bai Lianhua didn't want to disturb them much so she decided to first entertain this cousin of hers.
