Red Festival - Part 4

Musashi Hirata's action caused a stir, especially in the luxury box where the VIPs were watching. The head of the Wu family, Wu Yintao, and Bai Xian Ming looked at Musashi Kenzan.

The three great families sat in the same box. Remembering Hirata's action on the stage, Wu Yintao could not help but open his mouth, "Clan Head Kenzan, have you founded the Heero Academy for your second son?"

He was curious as this was the first time he had heard about this academy.

"No! You can ignore that boy! What he has done has nothing to do with the Musashi Clan!" Musashi Kenzan immediately denied that his clan had anything to do with the Heero Academy.

"He left the Clan two months ago! Even though Musashi's blood flows in his veins, he is no longer a member of the Musashi Clan!"

Wu Yintao was surprised to hear this. He had thought that Hirata had joined the Hero League to return to his clan. However, it seemed that the reason why Hirata became a hero had nothing to do with his clan.

"What a pity!" Wu Yintao muttered as he shook his head. Even though he said that, deep inside, he was quite happy. Based on the performance, Hirata was quite skilled.

He defeated the Crown Class Ranker only with footwork. No doubt about it, Musashi Hirata was amazing. But why did Musashi Kenzan kick out his amazing son?

Wu Yintao was intrigued and curious. But he was also glad that such a talented young man was kicked out rather than groomed.

Meanwhile, the father and son of the Bai family, Bai Xian Ming and Bai Tian Ming, exchanged glances.

They already knew that Musashi Hirata had not been kicked out of the clan, but he had left the clan with his mother. He went to live with his master in the famous district of the outer region.

They got the information from Bai Xin Yue. At first, they did not believe the story, but now they had to believe it because the person directly involved said so.

Back in the waiting room, Musashi Hirata received an intense look from the other participants. Especially from the rankers, who looked at him with venom.

Musashi Hirata ignored the looks and walked towards his group. He took a few steps when a man blocked his way. This man was Wei Tian, the 2nd seed in the main event.

"I accept your declaration of war, young hero!" Wei Tian licked his lips as he spoke.

Hirata looked up with a confused look. He frowned at the man's face and shook his head, "F*ck off! You are blocking my path!"

Wei Tian was stunned to hear this. Hirata was the first to tell him, and just as he was about to reply, he felt an intense gaze directed at him.

He looked up and saw Musashi Naizen, who was always sitting in meditation, looking at him. The look told him that if he made a move, Naizen wouldn't stay still either.

Not only Musashi Naizen, but also Sun Zhou Yi, Bai Xin Yue and Kang Seo-Yeon were looking at him. Looking at these people, Wei Tian turned around and said, "Heh, getting cocky because you have a helper, huh?

"Then I will destroy your broken academy! I will destroy you one by one in the arena!"

Wei Tian misunderstood Hirata, he thought Hirata was humiliating Arun Seth because of the Ranker identity. Then he took it as a declaration of war between hero and ranker.

Hearing this, Musashi Hirata stopped his steps. He looked at Wei Tian's broad back and looked back at Bai Xin Yue.

"Who was that moron?" Hirata asked with an emotionless voice.

"You don't know him?" Bai Xin Yue asked in a surprised tone. Hirata, however, shook his head as he sat next to Sun Zhou Yi.

"He is Wei Tian, the newly promoted Legendary Class Ranker and also the 2nd seed of the main event. I heard that he was quite dangerous and his awakening ability was something special. You have to be careful,"

Bai Xin Yue reminded Hirata with good intentions. But then she saw Hirata unlock his smartwatch and open a list. It was a list of people he wanted to destroy in the Fighter Anteriority.

She saw him remove Arun Seth from the list and then add Wei Tian to the list.

This left her speechless, so she just reminded him to be careful. However, not only did he ignore her words, the guy targeted Wei Tian instead.

While the participants were exchanging banter in the waiting room, the next match began.

[Wu Jiang Shan (#5) vs. Collin Evans (#256)]

Wu Jiang Shan had an easy match, just like Musashi Naizen. His opponent immediately conceded defeat.

The fight continued until the 45th match, when Bai Xin Yue's name appeared.

[Bai Xin Yue (#22) vs. Yu Fan (#199)]

When her name appeared, she stood up and opened her palm to Hirata.

"What?" Musashi asked Hirata strangely.

"Lend me your flag!"

As soon as Bai Xin Yue's name appeared, the whole arena erupted in thunderous cheers. Even Yu Fan, who had just come out of the waiting room, was intimidated by the cheers.

"Oh my... what bad luck! Why should it be her?" Yu Fan lamented his bad luck as he walked towards the stage.

He did not dare to look at the audience.

The cheering grew louder as a figure appeared from the opposite side.

"Huh!?" But then the cheers were silenced when they realised that Bai Xin Yue was wearing the martial arts clothes of the Heero Academy. Not only that, she also had the same Heero Academy flag hanging from her spear.

Bai Xin Yue's identity was clear to the public. She was a descendant of the Bai family, an old family that had made a great contribution to Star City.

But why was she wearing Heero Academy's martial arts gear? Did the Heero Academy belong to the Bai family?

Still, the silence did not last long. The audience did not care about the relationship between Bai Xin Yue and Heero Academy. They were eager to see their idol on stage.

When she reached the stage, she took off the flag and changed into her martial arts clothes. After that, she immediately took her stance with her spear.

"I am ready!" Bai Xin Yue said with her usual cold voice.

Long Bin nodded and looked at Yu Fan who also nodded with a nervous look. He immediately took a stance with his two staffs.

Is she going to use her awakening ability from the beginning? If she does, then I have no chance of winning...' Yu Fan was not optimistic about his chances of winning.

Bam!

Long Bin banged his staff, a sign that the match had begun.

Bai Xin Yue wasted no time in turning the stage into an ice floor. She was ice skating and her movements were agile and smooth.

As Bai Xin Yue moved freely towards Yu Fan, the latter tried to keep his balance with the sudden change.

'I'm fucked!' Yu Fan thought as the ground turned into an ice floor.

The slippery ground messed up his stance. The moment he looked up, Bai Xin Yue was standing right in front of him.

In a panic, Yu Fan swung his two steel staffs forward, trying to keep his balance. To his surprise, the staff stopped before it could reach Bai Xin Yue.

He looked down and saw that Bai Xin Yue had pierced the ground with her spear. Yu Fan was even more shocked when he saw his opponent bounce up with her spear.

The spear curved before Bai Xin Yue's body was thrown into the air. From the trajectory, Yu Fan could read the other person's manoeuvre. She was about to attack him from behind.

I won't give you a chance!

He spun his body around and swung his staff again. Yu Fan predicted that Bai Xin Yue would be behind him.

However, his staff swept empty air. Bai Xin Yue was not in the place he had predicted. In fact, he did not see his opponent's figure at all.

"Woaaaaa...!"

He then heard the spectators shouting in unison. Yu Fan did not know what had happened, but the spectators had witnessed what had happened on the stage.

Bai Xin Yue performed a beautiful manoeuvre in the air, causing the audience to gasp in surprise. Her body was spinning in the air with her spear pointing down.

Yu Fan looked over, but what he saw was a glowing spear tip.

Whoosh!

The spearhead missed his face by a few millimetres. He staggered back a few steps and fell onto his butt.

Bai Xin Yue pointed her spear at Yu Fan's face and looked up at Long Bing.

"Bai Xin Yue has won!" Long Bin announced as soon as he received the cold look.

Without any celebration, Bai Xin Yue took out the flag and put it back on the spear. He left the stage in the same manner as Musashi Hirata.

Meanwhile, the arena buzzed with chatter and shouts. Most of them were expressing their admiration for the Ice Queen. It was as if there had been no fight, but rather an amazing show by the Ice Queen Bai Xin Yue.
