Hunting Game - Part 2

A convoy of cars drove down the main road to the royal residence. A large bus led the convoy.

On top of the bus were three men wearing purple leather armor and carrying a longbow. If you looked closely, the convoy was protected by a few people dressed similarly to the three men on top of the bus.

Inside the bus, Edgar Lane looked forward with admiration. In front of the convoy, a man in a black and white uniform floated in the air with dozens of swords around him.

The man stood on a sword as he sliced through the specters, protecting the convoy at the front. The sword killed all the specters that tried to approach the convoy.

Suddenly, the man motioned for the bus to stop.

"Stop!" Edgar Lane ordered the driver to stop the bus. He immediately got up and turned around.

Seven Silver Knights also stood up as the door opened.

"Let's go!" Edgar led the knights out of the bus. They searched for the survivors with the help of the SES.

They had done this a few times, and so had the other Knights in the other cars. They went out and tried to evacuate the survivors to the royal residence.

After an hour, Edgar Lane and the other Silver Knights returned. Several cars appeared at the rear of the convoy.

Sun Zhou Yi looked back and saw the signal, a signal telling him that the evacuation was over. He then controlled the sword on his feet to move forward, marching towards the royal residence.

He looked at the map on his smartwatch. According to the map, they were near the royal residence. The closer they were to the royal residence, the fewer specters they would encounter.

Sun Zhou Yi was confused at first, but the confusion cleared when he arrived at the south entrance of the royal residence. The specters were besieging the royal residence. Many knights guarded the entrance and fought fiercely against the specters.

Sun Zhou Yi pressed the intercom into his ear, "Enemy in sight, prepare to engage!"

Inside the main castle

Prime Minister Austin watched the battle from the control room. He could see that all four main entrances to the royal residence were besieged by the specters.

Worry and nervousness could be seen on his face. This was all because of the evacuation plan.

At first, everything went smoothly, the knights avoided the battle and secured their people in the royal residence. But then the disaster began.

The specters followed the knight to the royal residence and the siege began. More and more specters gathered, and the knights were slowly pushed back.

"Where is SES?" Premier Austin asked his assistant.

SES was supposed to be here four hours ago, but they still had not received a report from SES.

Prime Minister Austin was about to smash the table with his hand, but then one of his subordinates rushed over.

"Prime Minister! There's a large convoy approaching from the south entrance!"

"Convoy? What convoy?" Prime Minister Austine rose from his seat and walked towards the surveillance team.

There was indeed a large convoy on the surveillance team's screen. Then his eyes fell on the man leading the convoy.

"Emperor Class Hero - Rank 20, Sun Zhou Yi!" Prime Minister Austin said a name. His eyes immediately lit up.

"SES has arrived! Tell the knight in charge of the south entrance to get ready to open the south gate! The reinforcements have arrived!"

Outside the south entrance

"One team stays behind! The rest follow me!"

Sun Zhou Yi then approached the red knight, Edgar Lane.

"Assemble the knights! Your mission is to protect the convoy! We will break the encirclement, be ready to move as soon as the path opens!"

Edgar Lane nodded and started to call the knights.

After this instruction, Sun Zhou Yi returned to his team. His eyes fell on the specters who still had not noticed his arrival.

"Let's go!"

Sun Zhou Yi rushed towards the gate, drawing his sword as the ki swords ran ahead of him. He controlled the Ki Sword with precision.

Wish! Whish! Whish!

The Ki Swords whistled through the air and struck the specters. Fifty Ki Swords in all, and all of them hit the dark core of the specters. Like a storm, the Ki Swords swept the specters away.

Guardian Knight Frei, in charge of the South Gate, noticed the incoming convoy. He also heard from Prime Minister Austin that it was the SES leading the convoy.

When he saw Sun Zhou Yi fighting the specters, he was astonished. For the first time, he saw the famous Sword God with his own eyes.

He looked at the Ki Swords, every time they stabbed, a specter would fall. Fifty Ki Swords in total, fifty specters falling every second.

Aside from the Ki Swords, a rain of arrows also fell on the specter formations. Just like the Ki Sword, each arrow killed a specter in an instant.

Guardian Knight Frei was stunned. The specters that had forced his knight into a defensive position were being slaughtered like a mob.

In ten minutes, the specters blocking the way to the gate were gone. Sun Zhou Yi's party met the knight in charge of the defense.

Guardian Knight Frei snapped out of his daze and shouted, "Open the gate! Open the gate!"

With the help of SES, the convoy safely entered the royal residence.

Sun Zhou Yi merely stood by the side of the road, but countless specters were killed under his ki swords. It was in keeping with his title, Sword God, bestowed upon him by the citizens of Star City. This title was not an old wives' tale, he was truly a Sword God.

The battle continued, and it took the SES an hour, an hour to kill all the specters that besieged the South Gate.

The thousands of specters that besieged the knights were wiped out by SES in an hour. Guardian Knight Frei was stunned as he watched everything from beginning to end.

When Guardian Knight Frei noticed that SES was about to enter the royal residence, he immediately went downstairs. He had to greet them personally.

Sun Zhou Yi led SES into the royal residence. As he passed through the gate, he was greeted by a golden-armored knight.

Golden armor, he's a Guardian Knight!

Unlike Heero, Sun Zhou Yi was aware of the knight's hierarchy.

Sun Zhou Yi slightly bowed his head to the old man in the golden armor, "Thank you for opening the gate for us.

"No, it should be us who are grateful for your help. Without your help, we would have suffered great losses to kill all the specters!" Guardian Knight Frei was flattered by Sun Zhou Yi's polite attitude.

"It's our job to kill them," Sun Zhou Yi smiled kindly at the old man.

"My name is Sun Zhou Yi, Squad Captain of SES, pleased to meet you!"

Guardian Knight Frei immediately extended his hand to Sun Zhou Yi, "Frei Rodden of the Rodden Family, nice to meet you too, Captain Sun Zhou Yi".

As soon as they introduced themselves, Prime Minister Austin rushed out of the crowd and shouted, "Hero Zhou Yi! Hero Zhou Yi!"

His loud voice attracted the surrounding people, especially the people saved by Sun Zhou Yi, including Edgar Lane.

From afar, Edgar Lane looked at Sun Zhou Yi with awe. When he heard Prime Minister Austin's voice, Edgar Lane's expression brightened.

"So he is a hero..." Edgar Lane muttered under his breath, "Hero Zhou Yi..."

Edgar Lane removed his wrist guard. Underneath the wrist guard was his smartwatch. He opened the smartwatch and immediately typed "Hero Zhou Yi".

"I am Prime Minister Austin..." Under his heavy breathing, Prime Minister Austin extended his hand.

"Sun Zhou Yi, SES Captain!" Sun Zhou Yi extended his hand to the old man, "I have been instructed to meet you, Prime Minister Austin!"

"Ah, yes..." Prime Minister Austin paused. Suddenly, the surroundings darkened.

Prime Minister Austin unconsciously looked up. His legs immediately went weak and he fell with his butt. His eyes widened in horror as he looked up at the sky.

A gigantic blackbird was hovering right above them, about a thousand meters long, and its wingspan reached two thousand meters. It was the first time Prime Minister Austin had seen such a large bird with his own eyes.

Even Guardian Knight Frei trembled at the sight of the gigantic bird.

Not only that, the same bird but smaller in size also hovered around the giant bird. It was much smaller than the giant bird, but it was five times the size of a human being.

Worry flashed across his face, he was not afraid of the giant bird, but he was worried about the citizens of the kingdom.

"Abyss Raven!" Rasyikh blurted out, "But if it's this big, it must be an Emperor-level beast, a level 7 beast!"

"Right, but also wrong!" Suddenly, a voice rang out.

Hearing the familiar voice, Sun Zhou Yi turned around and saw his master. His face lit up and he excitedly shouted, "Master!"

"Mnn," Heero nodded at Sun Zhou Yi before turning to Rasyikh, "This is indeed the same Abyss Raven your ancestors fought in the past, but they are no longer beasts! They are specters!"

"Ah!" Rasyikh was alarmed when he heard this. Even an Emperor-level beast had turned into a specter, but he could not imagine the being that turned it into a specter.

Heero then turned to his first student and smiled, "Do you want to fight it? The current you have a chance to win against this creature".
