Devi's POV

Tring Tring Tring....The irritating noise of my alarm wakes me up from my deep slumber, its 5am right now and I want to sleep more but I also want to go cycling because I love the crisp air in the morning and the birds chirping also at this time of the day there are very few people on the streets so it Fun being alone!

I quickly head out after freshening up because I have to be back in 20 mins. 

I have a daily route planned out for myself when cycling which takes exactly 20 mins, and I don't even get tired due to the workout. As soon as I'm home I head to take a shower and get ready because I have school at 8 in the morning

The bus arrives at 7 15 so I rush to the washroom and take a quick shower and then get ready in my school uniforms which is an orange t-shirt and trouser of the darkest shade of blue almost similar to black.

 I know sounds cringy but it doesn't look as bad as it sounds, or it does! Well,who cares have to wear for just 3 months now.

Hello I am Devi, I am 16yo and I study in 12 th grade. Currently I am standing on the spot thebus usually arrives to whisk me away to school.

I am looking at my Instagram feed while standing when I hear the shrill noise of the bus horn, it stops before me and I hoist myself up while smiling at the teachers seated at the front and go to my seat which is in last row.

As always the bus is empty because there are barely 30 students from the area we live inwhich enables us in enjoying our ride, the entire back seat is vacant just for me becausebarely 5 seniors are there in the bus and the ones who are a year younger than us sit a few rows ahead as the bumps on the road make us fly, literally!

I enjoy jumping so I sit in the back, as soon as I reach my seat, I crash into something and fall unceremoniously on the seat, looking up I find my best friend grinning at me with his 32teeth on full display, "careful u dumbass", he says.

That is Arnav Rawat my boy bestie, he is a funny and an absolute sweet talker, for his own good.

 For revenge I kick him back with my boney legs which earns me some curses and looks from the ones sitting ahead of us. 

Arnav complained, "what was that for!", whereas I just shrug and say "Revenge, by the way I thought you weren't coming to school today so what are you doing here?"

"We have football practice today, was informed today morning only", he replies."Oh, that is why you look like you just woke up, did you even take a shower!", I said and inreturn I received a small, "Shut up I did" which was barely audible.

 I laugh and put on myearphones to pass some time.Yes, we have permission to bring phones to school, because first of all our school is located at a 45 mins drive from our homes, so all the seniors are allowed to carry cell phones until and unless we submit it at the reception of the school, so that the phones are not used during lectures.  

A tugging sensation on my head wakes me up from my slumber, I usually fall asleep duringcar/bus rides, I don't know why it's just me haha!
