#Chapter6

Marriage

Talus' POV

Trumpets sounded and the double door before me creaked open, displaying a balcony. I walked along the red rug placed for me. At the end, queen Tamara stood with her hands locked before her. Her hair fell elegantly, flower heads stuck inside it. She was in a long white gown that covered her legs and still ran as long as it could.

A man with no hair held a bowl. He wore a blue robe and stood next to the queen. Tendrils of purple smoke rose from the bowl. When I closed in my, an aromatic scent drifted into my nostril. I took a deep breath, letting the scent saturate my nasal system.

I stood side by side with the man holding the bowl. Queen Tamara looked at me through her lashes and blushed when I winked at her. Deep down, I was glad that I was marrying someone as pretty as her.

/"We're all gathered here to witness the marriage between our god, Talus, and our queen, queen Tamara,/" the man said.
