#Chapter31
Galia
Talus' POV
I was uncomfortable. Something was off. Why would the Galian king be so nice to me? If I remembered correctly, his men were the ones who chased Janos to our kingdom. The commander barely made it out alive.
So what struck me was why my feet was being washed by women in white gowns. They dried my feet with a white towel and applied a sweet scenting oil on my legs.
/"Janos./"
/"Lord?/" He turned to me.
His legs were being washed too by women in white gowns and so was Isalo and Fontus.
/"Remember the first time we met./" I locked my brows. /"Weren't you badly injured by Galian soldiers?/"
/"Yes, Lord./"
/"So why are we treated with such hospitality now?/" I asked. /"Isn't that suspicious?/"
/"I was thinking the same, Lord,/" Isalo added. /"I can't believe we were all given separate rooms to sleep. And each room was decent. I didn't know Galians were this nice./"
