#Chapter28
Helping the carriage man
Talus' POV
I yawned and stretched my arms. Last night was hell. I couldn't believe I slept inside this forest. I sat up and glanced around. Isalo and Janos were awake, the latter holding a dead boar in a stake.
Morning sunlight sneaked past the tall trees and lit up the forest. I rose and head to them.
/"Lord, you're awake./" Isalo smiled. /"We went hunting./"
/"I can see./" I nodded my head in approval. /"I'm surprised you two did something together without cutting off your heads./"
Janos smirked. /"I got tired of playing his child games with him./"
/"I'm not a child./" Isalo frowned and walked to a boulder.
I swerved and saw Fontus sleeping next to Dracula. /"Wake him up./"
Isalo strode to him and tapped his shoulders. He yawned and rubbed his eyes. When his vision was clear he got up.
/"Lord,/" Fontus said, bowing.
/"Fontus, I see you love sleeping./"
