2. Backlash

The stuff received backlash from the people who was disturbed by the antics of Aubrey Larsen. As the staff failed in controlling Aubrey who now started roaming around with a scotch filled glass in his hand.

"Is this why we are paying premium membership? When you can't even ensure us our space, what is the use of having all these bouncers?" one from the crowd miffed with disturbance screamed at the manager.

"Sorry for the inconvenience Sir, we are trying.." the manager who was hired due to his strong communication skills now found t hard to come up with something that will satisfy them.

"To the hell with your apologies, we are not looking for that. All we want is some peace and if you can't provide that at least refund our funds back right now" another from the crowd added and soon backlash popped up from every corner.

Unable to either calm the crowd or control Aubrey who was in his world dancing to the tunes in his sober state, Luke rushed aside asking the staff to keep an eye on the crowd.

Searching on his call log Luke waited for other partners to pick the call where as the staff got busy trying to calm down the angry mob by offering them drinks and accompaniments.

"Can't believe that I had sincere crush on him once" sighed one girl in her early 30's who came to the pub with her colleagues.

"Not just you Wyna, tell me who didn't have a crush on him

It's Aubrey Samuel Larsen you are speaking about, he was the most eligible bachelor until the news of his secret marriage was broken out to the world by the media" added another.

"Ohh yeah, I remember crying my eyes out along with my pals. Man… I can't just believe how much has changed. He literally has fallen from the most desirable man to that of most irritable one" sighed another.

When everyone are busy either judging Aubrey or fighting against him, Aubrey was in his world. The world of dreams where he's still living with his Nadia. His steps altered as he was grooving to the songs with high on alcohol and he tripped flat on the floor garnering eww sounds from all over.

"Security… security" they started screaming asking them to take him away as Luke who was watching all the mess grew impatient with each passing second.

Finally time has been a little gracious and his call was taken.

"What's soo urgency Luke? Don't you know how busy I will be? How many times do I have to warn you to not call on my personal number unless it's an emergency" he went on rambling as he got disturbed.

"Sir, I do understand the value of your time, and if not for emergency I wouldn't have made a call" Luke added immediately.

"Okay, so what's the matter?"

"Sir it's about Mr.Larsen, he has created a scene" explained Luke.

"C all on me on the day when he doesn't create a scene" the irritation in his voice was clear to Luke.

"Sir, I know we are habituate to it but today he has gone beyond breaking the table and occupying the podium, crowd is demanding return of money" Luke added hurriedly.

"What is hell is even wrong with him? He is soo getting out of hands, if this keeps on repeating we lose all our reputation, do anything but control him right now" ordered Rolex, not just one of the investors in the pub but also a peer to Aubrey who visibly competes against him in every sort of business.

"Sir, but he's not in any position to control, half of the people are demanding refund of their payment as the weekend plan they have signed up got disturbed. However, we couldn't do anything against Mr.Larsen too, had he been any normal drunkard guy we'd have thrown him out by now, but it's one of the major investors" sighed Luke.

His trials to calm down Aubrey or shift him to a room or a lonely place just didn't work.

Fed up of the negativity their pub is flocking and irritated by the nature of Aubrey, Rolex came up with strong decision.

"Just do the same you do for others, leave the power, money and all, just throw him out right now and I'll take care of things if questions arise" Rolex stated.

"But Sir, how can we? What if we're pressed with legal charges?" quizzed Luke.

"If things get there, he'll be the one who will have to be behind bars for the deeds he's committing. Just throw him out now!" Roared Rolex.

"Okay Sir, will do as you say" Luke added, clutching his mobile close to his ear.

"One more thing Luke, treat the crowd with free accompaniments and offer them extra services and a grace week, where the entry and all the food and drink would be free. At least this would help in saving our damaged reputation" Rolex, sighed hard.

"On it Sir, but I am still unsure on how Mr.Larsen would react ones he gets back to senses" the fear in his voice was heard by Rolex.. However once the beast who could just move pawns with the blink of his eyes turning to an insane animal.

Disconnecting the call, Luke rushed to the podium and alerted his staff.

"Please calm down, just give us few minutes" he requested the angry mob and the bouncers rushed to Aubrey who's whispering something in his partly unconscious state.

As soon as the bouncers made him stand straight, his eyes were opened a little and he observed how he was being dragged away.

"Who the hell are you people? Get me drinks" screamed Aubrey.

"Yes Sir, we are taking you to the drinks section" Luke was quick to add as the bouncers kept moving.

Even before Aubrey could understand what's happening the main door was wide open and in no time he was showed out of the bar.

The mob had various reactions on how once the most respected man now turned the most illtreated, but he cared nothing… neither is he in a position to care. All he cared was about the piece of heart he lost, his Nadiya!
