Sansa's pov
My steps were following Amara, and every second felt like an hour to me. I was desperate to find out why Xavier had taken me as his bride against my will.
I was curious to know what the work of that law was that caused me to lose Logan, and I wanted to predict any possibility that could free me from the curse of the pronouncement of wonder.
The true reason was about to be revealed. My heart was racing faster than a horse in a race to the finish line. My steps led me to the mansion's backyard, where no one was present at the time.
I discovered the backyard, which was filled with flowers and antiques, as well as beautiful fountains and a swimming pool.
