Xavier's Pov
"You will regret it," he said confidently and with a grin.
"I have nothing to regret," I said, looking down at his fearless, mysterious blue eyes.
He was lying on the ground in the classroom, and the moonlight was streaming in through the window as I stood there with one leg on his chest and a fancy sword in my hand with the dragon printed on the grip.
He laughed with a cough; his fake gold tooth can be seen with other white front teeth; there is blood all over his face; and there is a fresh blade scar under his left eye that I gave him a few minutes ago in an intense fight.
His long black coat had been ripped apart and soaked in blood. His front missing tooth was in the classroom's corner, near a few broken chairs and his black pistol. I applied pressure to his chest. He was panting for breath because my solid shoe was causing him pain.
"I'm sure you miss your little bride," he said, grinning.
"Bride?" I was intrigued by his words.
